I am glad to get the opportunity to read your tribute to Brooke. I will never look at a dandelion the same again. Her and I used to discuss the positive aspects of dandelions. I have been missing your poetry. I hope your busy and nothing more serious.

Hi Ray,
A beautiful tribute to a lovely lady. I feel very blessed to have known Brooke. She invited me to my first writing class here on FanStory and I learned so much from her. I miss her spirit and inspiration. She was a grand lady. I never see a dandelion that I don't think of her and the beautiful things she wrote and the lessons she taught..

A lovely blank verse poem in tribute to dear, Brooke. You've highlighted many of her themes and of course in perfect iambic metre.

You haven't forgotten everything, this is book format so the usual poetry tools are likely in a different place. Did you scope around to see?

That said, great to see you back Ray, hope you decide to stay.

Hi Ray,

This is lovely. She was so pleased when you started teaching classes. She told us you were highly qualified. You write of all the subjects she loved. I can see her in each of your lines. I've never been a wine drinker, but you make it sound appealing to sip red wine and read Brooke's poetry. I'll have to give up my whining ways and drink wine lol!

I'm not sure about line 16:

- "and (they) she yet remains as I read her verse tonight" - did you mean, "there"?

Nicely said Ray. I think more of the person and her simpleness in terms of poetry, the way she made the simple things stand out..the everyday things that some of us take for granted...especially the love of her grandson and ...and her famous countbacks.
