Helen, your story is just as fascinating as ever. I so much admire the spirit of unity and connection as shown by their communication and something as meaningful as a working together for the dome structure against powerful forces. With the harmonious song, the atmosphere is terrific.

So very well conceived and written. :)

Gloria

Enjoyed the imagery. The action had me in the moment, but then the comments about remembering it pulled me out. I was confused about past/present setting. I did get intensity when I felt it was happening then. Good story - I look forward to reading more.

Thank you for stopping by and reviewing. It's almost toward the end of the book so I'm sure it must be confusing if you didn't know what happened before. Blessings!

It was fascinating that the Bohdee "bonded" with their "secondary set of limbs" creating a "living building" and "unbroken umbrella". You have such a fertile imagination and left us in suspense with Peeztee fainting in the final line. To be continued... -Joan

What a beautiful story of how unity connects, one heart, one mind, one baptism. I'll bet you thought of God gathering His chicks under His wings, the willing that is, and mourning for those unwilling, beautifully written and inspired Helen, well done, it's amazing how scripture becomes part of us. Well done, blessings, Roy

Thank you so much, Roy! I was thinking of how we are being built up into a building (Eph 2, 1 Peter 2) So happy that you can see the spiritual message! Appreciate you!!
    Blessings!

A very well-written chapter and a clever way to protect the weaker ones from big storms that conntinue to come at certain times and it has great force that cannot be ignored.

This is a very enticing story you have created! I haven't read the previous story, but I got a good idea of it from this one read. Great job and I hope to read more my friend.

Hi Helen. This is a lovely chapter, well described. I like how Peeztee closes the hole in the roof to complete the dome of protection during the storm. I like how the song unified them all throughout the storm. This is quite the purpose of a mantra or a chant to unify during meditation. Great job. Marilyn

This would be quite a viewing and audio scene to experience as the umbrella is formed and the sound soothes while deadening the sound of the storm. There is one usage error that you'll notice in revision. Great scene here.

Thanks, Bill! Okay, I'll take another look to see if I can find that usage error.

Poor Peeztee... he's just not used to all that contact and especially the emotional flow that obviously happens between them! :) :) A wonderful write here, Helen, and it gave a much more vivid picture to the reader of what happens when they form their shelter -- wonderful!! :) Thanx for sharing, ma'am!! :) :) Yvette ;)
