Awe Jay, this is a wonderful tribute to your great-granddaughter. And you got your wish and she has now grown up. It shines through how proud you are of her. I love the name as well. My favourite doll's name was Gabriella. My parent's let me choose the doll I wanted. She had real hair. This was in Venice, Italy, when I was only 3 years old. I named her after a beautiful girl who looked after me at times.
I loved your poem. Kind regards. Ulla:))
This is such a precious tribute to your great-granddaughter! How honored she must feel to know you took the time to write a beautiful poem about her! I too have three great-grandchildren, the oldest one living with me with his parents. He is three and quite the brilliant, but also rambunctious fellow! It is my greatest joy though when he tells "GG" how pretty I am and lands a great big hug and kiss on me! Blessed doesn't even describe it!
This sounds like a proud grandparent speaking of a talented granddaughter. I think if music and dance are her two loves that
she could probably do both. She could write her own music to
It is lovely to hear that your beloved Gabrielle has grown to prove some of your early predictions and that you have seen this development. Your pride in her is obvious, and is so well portrayed in your endearing poem.
Shh!! The secret is out, now that Gabrielle is grown up to be all that is written about. Time travels in waves of thought, so did sweet Gabrielle's years time sought. These are not written words on paper as you thought, but words from the heart frozen in time until would graduate to the beautiful swan. Great writing
