This is really good my brother and I like how you break it all down in such great detail. I don't care about a mansion or streets paved with gold, I just want to be where my Jesus is forever and ever. I know that I will have that there though. As I recall what was most interesting, was how this verse was partially fulfilled during Christ time on earth, but we look forward to its finality. Good explanation and to some of us a reminder of how is Word proves true!

A great passage and so encouraging, though frightening at the same time. All those who chose to reject Christ will suffer here on earth as well as the life after. People who think they don't need God/Christ in their lives miss the abundant living and live selfish lives devote of the rewards that come from serving a risen savior. Well done as always sir. I love to read Revelation and see what is to come. It is most frightening for those who don't believe. But I do look forward to the day when Christ returns to rescue Israel. How exciting! Rox

Powerful story:" We should understand Christ was crucified not as a loser to the will of sinful men but rather as a deliberate love offering of God the Father to a nation and a world lost in sin." But do we understand and do we act to the level of this sacrifice? Thank you for sharing.

It's so wonderful to have a fellow Christian and FanStory friend who I can share Bible prophecy with. However, I don't believe there will be any peace associated with the seven year tribulation. Yes, the end will grow much worse as it is splits at the halfway mark at three-and-a-half years. Peace is removed during this seven year time. And when the peace treaty is finally offered, and the Antichrist proceeds to declare himself as God, thus desecrating the temple, it signals, "get the heck out of Jerusalem." What say you? I enjoyed this meaty end times prophetic word. This is my cup of tea.

Thanks for your input! Not sure I emphasized it enough, but the ?peace? of the first 3.5 years is phony, based on the lies of the False Prophet. H L Wilmington believes the world will be tired of war and will listen to the call of the False Prophet to get rid of all weapons of war. In any case, thanks again and God bless you.

"Legions" is correctly translated as an army or host and cannot be equated to a specific number LOL. I don't know where some of this stuff comes from, but it is certainly does not have a sound basis in scriptural (or Torah or Talmud) doctrine. Nice write and thank you very much for sharing it.

Many would disagree on the numbers in a legion and we can at least be sure the Roman army had a specific number in place when structuring their army.

Knowing God is a God of order suggests He too numbers His armies of Angels. Thanks for commenting.

A very well-written explanation of the rapture and tribulation period and the rise of the anti-christ that will fool the whole world to believe there is finally peace on earth, but he will also reveal himself as the anti christ.
