Hahaha, this is wonderful, Bill. he was so close to do everything by the book and then in the last minute, he failed the test. I loved it. You're so good at this. Ulla:))

This was a good one, Bill! I especially liked the twist at the end of this being a practice run, and the even funnier twist after that of Davey failing the test.
It's perfect!

LOL!! I'm pretty sure our country mailcarriers don't undergo any scrutiny whatsoever... :) :) But what a fun script, Bill -- something no one has probably never even considered! ;) :) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

You made me smile Bill, after all that he hands over the mail anyway! He he he. I think I would have insisted in putting it in the mail box! We have mail delivered into our homes and no one can steal it! Love Dolly x

Almost Davey, almost
Great one act. Good conversation and visually laid out so you are there. Thank you for that ending. Loved the little twist.

HA. HA. Ha. He aced the test only to
blow it at the last minute. Isn't that
too bad? This was a fun read and a
unique idea. Well done, Bill. Nancy:)

That's so clever but I have to pity the poor postman! He was trying so hard then still didn't pass the test. It hardly seems fair. That Mr Hamsterdam is a hard man.

Addressing them each by their own name at the end is brilliant and turned things around. I really laughed at this typical red tape dialogue.

Poor Davey, he almost passed the test. Unfortunately he does not realize that close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. That Mr. Hamsterdam is a slippery and slick character.

You just may be right. It would certainly seem to be the likely case.

LOL! You should have entered this one in the upcoming contest as it is REALLY delightful. It's well penned and thoroughly engaging as the conversation is one that certainly is probable - my carrier makes me wait until it's in the box and she knows who I am LOL. I enjoyed this immensely and thought the ending a wonderful twist. Thanks for sharing it.
