This is very well penned. Each thought is compelling and leads to the next in a succinct and cohesive manner. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

Interesting philosophy you have put to pen. How anyone could believe this world full of hatred and strife is all there is or the reason we are here is so sad. There isn't another creature on earth like man and his need to seek out knowledge and "the point of it all." That in itself should speak volumes. Great work here!

My, you are spoiling me. Thank you so much. You make a great point about man being an intelligent designer being obviously made in HIS image. Thanks again and have a great day and weekend.

Hello djeckert
I read your interesting post of the The orthodoxy of art

are icons (such as the one you used are words in painting; they refer to the history of salvation and to its manifestation in concrete persons. ... Eastern Orthodox believe these qualify as icons, in that they were visible images depicting heavenly beings and creation.

Well, this certainly is humanism in artistic form. Mankind does not like to be called out in their evil, or even pointed to their need for a savior. I had no problem with it, as I came to the Lord early on. There was no argument.
Sending you my best today as always, D.
Sal :))
