Lots of items here to take in. The smart TV was a new thing for me but it became obsolete when I was given an Apple TV connection.
Fun moving around apartments I bet. The drama is a bonus I'm sure.

I have no idea what an Apple TV connection is. I'll have to check it out.

Okay so can you not use a remote to turn your TV on? How old is your smart tv? Maybe it's time for a new one? I have a smart phone and my last one stopped working. When I took it in they told me it was a common thing with the particular phone I had. I was optimistic since it was a common problem but then they continued. My super smart phone forgot how to operate itself. The only thing it knew how to do was turn itself on and after that it just didn't know and it would shut it off. It would forever go thru those two steps. It was a nightmare. I hope you get the tv thing figured out. I thought for sure it was a remote and small button issue. Dang! That would have been so much easier. I had to get a new phone when my super smart phone went to the dumbest phone ever. Lol. And I agree with you about Nacho. Is he still with his woman? They still living together and doing good? Maybe she needs to kick his butt in gear. Lol.

I am still trying to figure out how to operate my Smart TV. It is still hard to turn on but the time it takes to do that is less.

You should get someone to activate the 'voice activation' if the TV is a Smart TV... ;) Hope the return to the doctor finds something that can help with the eating thing.. And you be sure to post your poem when you get it done! ;) :) Yes, of course Nacho is mad, but he truly has no reason to be... you are right. Sigh. Hopefully at some point he may come around... And hooray for homemade chili and not having to cook! ;) Thanx for the smurphy today, Sasha -- always good to read you! ;) Take care! ;)

Nacho is very stubborn, I doubt he will ever calm down.

I enjoyed reading you ramble and must say that a bad hair cut has one thing going for it in that hopefully it will again grow. As for writing poetry, I find it is easier for me with my vision as I can usually write a poem that says something without having to write many words.
Have a blessed day.

I talk a lot and write the same way. I have never been a person of few words. That applies to my writing too.

I enjoyed your ramble, thanks. I know how you feel about the TV. I think ours is a male TV as I can press exactly the same buttons as my husband does and it will work for him but not for me. It's so annoying.

Even Veronica, the neighborhood expert on Smart TV's is unable to turn mine on.

I agree one hundred percent. How I miss the ability to actually walk across the room and change the station to whatever you want. Now I have to scan thru 58 channels at least, just to find something I can enjoy. I only remember a handful of numbers off-handedly.

And who needs all the commercial sales? No matter how bored or bed ridden I am, not hard to turn those off.

If I remember correctly, in Germany (quite a number of years ago) they had one solid hour of commercials around dinner time. I was told it helps wives to cook and not miss anything interesting. I wonder. The rest of the day, no commercials! that was cool.

Remember the old tin foil on the rabbit ears trick?

If we had no tinfoil, dad would assign one of his 6 kids to stand and hold the ears where reception could be captured. Fun, not. Guess every system has its flaws.

This is a case of technology out-running us!

It sure sounds like you have a lot going on. I am glad to hear your hair is growing and sad to hear that you are caught in the middle of the landlord and your friend. That is a hard place to be.

Oh, I am so looking forward to that poem. I cannot imagine. Will it be an ode to Mazatlan? That would be delightful. I always laugh at your descriptions of the place.
I'm also laughing at your description of your tv. I couldn't agree with you more. I was happily watching a football game last week when everyone started speaking in Spanish. I tried every button on the remote to fix the sound, but eventually had to call the cable people. They said my tv only takes audio commands. I had to hit the microphone button (the only one that I had not tried) and tell it precisely what I needed. Sounds easy, but of course it has to be precisely the right command. What a headache!
Keep these posts and poems coming.

Enjoyed your posting, seems as if you have made some changes,,,good for you. I have been working on a story and can not seem to get it right..but I will trudge a long and see how it goes. I am a pretty good artist and will be in a show after Christmas, I am working on a couple of ideas. As of late, people have started to like what do ,,, they ain't got no taste at all. Keep at it lady... really enjoy your stories....need to see some new stuff from you.

Thanks. I love what you post so don't put me in the category of those that don't and in the one that people do like.

I am so glad you are up to doing rambles again, I truly love it when I can laugh at something and I know when I said that, you understood what I meant
