You certainly must love it in Mazatlan, your poem and the picture say it all. I would say, yes, that's a free-verse poem. Why would you question your talent?

Hi,
My sister is 77 and her loving husband of 25 years died last year. One of the first things she did, and she's never written poetry, was to write a poem titled Me. She said she discovered the word Me for the first time ever. Apparently her hubby was loving but not giving. At least you found mirth early. - Lobber

A Very well-written free verse poem about who you are and that laughter is important to you. You get a lot of it where you live and that is all that's important to you.

I think this is a fine poem Sasha, the rules for a free verse are much broader than form poetry, the lines are a little hazy anyway, I've seen free verse, that I would classify as prose, but it doesn't matter what I think. The good thing about poetry, you can say it with fewer words, the trick is the strength of those words. By gad I think you've done it Sasha, blessings, Roy
