Perhaps she is simply making her way back and forth to work everyday like any responsible citizen would. Is there a dairy or an orphanage in that direction? Both need their fair share of milk :). This was delightful and it is so good to hear you are laughing and smiling again - your two friends are VERY good for you both physically and emotionally. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

Strange, but I haven't seen the cow for at least a week. Maybe he/she got lost.

Well, we have a lot of cows in Tennessee, but I've never seen on roaming the streets of Milan. That I would remember. This little story is wonderfully written, and I love the picture. I hope you get a picture of the roaming cow! Best of luck with your writing!
Have a great day and God bless.
mike

One night as I was driving home, there was a cob on I 35, a major interstate. Deer are common, but cows seem to be smart enough to avoid the streets. Great story, my friend. I have memory loss too and completely understand the challenges it poses. Even my dog laughs at me when I am searching for something I have lost--just ask her~Debbie

Short term memory loss does not mean you have dementia. Too many don't know that.

reply by dejohnsrld (Debbie) on 27-Nov-2019
You are entirely right. Just because I have no idea where I've put things doesn't mean confusion--just too many dead brain cells. I still know what I'm looking for. When I forget that, I'm in trouble. Have a good Thanksgiving, my friend. Do you celebrate there?~Debbie

Another great little ramble. Informative, humorous, and quite different. It appealed to me also because I happen to like cows.

I saw a few little thingys:

I saw no cars flipped over from colliding with it.
You use mixed pronouns "him/her" throughout; I wonder if they should
be used here as well.

"driver and cow die in head-on collision in Mazatlan."
"Driver" should be capitalized.

Not much rhythm and not great to dance too."
"too" should be "to" & quote not needed at end.

You have a wonderful and engaging way of telling your story in a rambling disjointed but harmonious way. Ive been there but didn't see a cow. Like your style. Keep writing.

That's funny Sasha. What's amazing is that with all of the traffic, the cow has some kind of special sense to know how to veer through all of it unscathed. I would be wondering myself what it's doing and where it went so fast. I mean, how fast can an animal that size move in the traffic? Also, where would it hide or escape to so fast? These are interesting questions that you may be able to answer in your next installment. I enjoyed reading this well written work. Well done!

It certainly is very strange to see a cow at an intersection. Especially a determined cow that knows exactly where it is going. Perhaps there is someone he/she is heading for, that milks him every day, to relieve his/her utters.

The cow probably needed to be milked or was looking for food. That is all I can think of.

The cow must be doing something. It might know very well what it is doing, who knows. I wish I could write so easily about me and my life the way you write about yours.

I agree, the cow knows exactly where it wants to go an heads in that direction.

Nobody makes me laugh like you, Sasha. I read this while visiting with my son and his new wife. They wanted to know what I was laughing at so hard. So, I read them 3 of your paragraphs about that cow knowing his way and having a destination in mind. That is the funniest idea.
You delight.

This is an interesting post. I guess mainly because I like cows. :)

I have a few edits to suggest:

No prolouge again today - spelling - prologue

Agustin sits in back answering all my questions - did you mean 'sits in the back?'

he/she disappeared before I was able get it in focus - word missing 'was able to get it...'

Not much rhythm and not great to dance too." - should be 'dance to'. Delete speech marks at end

many cows wandering the back street of Mazatlan and sounding offended he said, - should 'back street' be plural? Comma after 'offended'

When you see the cow each time, is it at the same time of the day? If it is, then maybe the cow has a routine - going to be milked somewhere, or heading home to a barn or yard perhaps. I hope you find out one day and let us all know. :)

Enjoy your week
Judy
