Okay, so the next one better be a helluva doozie, cuz I did not like this one, Sir Bill... :( ;( ;( Well-written.... although I'd be good with Red falling off a building or even being accidentally shot by one of the Tin Soldiers or trampled by Rudolph and the Gang... ;/ :/ Yvette

Oh, poor Ned. Mean Red.
I like how Ned sees things from a different angle. His angle to t he Jack and the Beanstalk story, one that allows him to provide for his mother, as Ned does for his mother.

You're a mean one Mr. Red for pissing in Ned's cheerios like that. I wouldn't have thought anything could shake Ned but that did. I hope he gets over it.

I think Red is the dimwit, and a mean one. Why would he say that? I think he deserves the bloody nose he's about to get. Why couldn't he just let his cousin be happy?

I may send Pez after Red later. He has a tendency to be around when people stop being around.

Noooo! That Red is such a mean guy. Poor Ned, he has his feelings hurt. Couldn't it mean that Jack was just a sucker for magic things and his mom saw that in Ned? Hope Pons gets the balloon back for Ned.

I want to climb into your story and kick Red in the teeth! I can't stand someone who steps on simple, innocent people just because they can. I know Ned's just a character, but he's a sweetie, and I've grown to like him a lot.

This is getting a bit sentimental. Well, it is the Christmas season. The "Jack and the Beanstalk" story works in well. Pons, as usual, goes along with Ned. He's usually careful to spare his feelings. Red, on the other hand, comes along to spoil the story Ned believes and tells him Jack is a dimwit. Wonder what the significance of Ned letting go of the magic balloon is? Guess we'll find out. judi

Red has given Ned the idea that Ned?s mom thinks he is an idiot.

reply by judiverse on 24-Nov-2019
It sounds like that has had a depressing effect on Ned. judi

Some heartless idiots get all of their pleasure out of being DICKS. They appear to be clueless, but they are not clueless to the fact that they are being petty and cruel, that is their thing, how they get off. At some point in their lives they wonder why nobody seems to like them. Even then they are not clueless, they just do not want to admit that they are not liked because they are unrepentant assholes.

How sad. He had such big hopes, nice hopes for the magic balloon and the bully had to spoil it. Broke the poor guy's heart. The script is well-written, interesting, heartbreaking. Ned really came to life. I hope the bully gets his, lol.

Poor Ned. Red is a jerk and should have his backside kicked but good! There's never any reason to hurt someone's feelings. Ned is always so happy, and now he feels a fool.
