Excellent post though I have a couple of suggestions.

"It doesn't. . . Rachel sees. . . towards should be toward.

"Did you get. . . Either add more to the sentence or add ellipsis.

I hope Abby finds out she's free soon.

I liked this chapter. I read it a couple of days ago but didn't comment until now. I don't see anything to add or subtract.
I am curious about how this is going to end since the cops dropped the charges. Now somehow they need to get the message to her that she doesn't have a warrant anymore. Then there is the problem with the Mob wanting to kill her still. In other news, it looks like we will be getting a puppy! hehe, It's a lab puppy. James has been wanting a puppy and one of my friends has some. So we are getting one from her. The runt most likely. The smaller the better. lol

Thank you so much for your kind review. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. Hopefully, the police will either find her or get the mob before they track Abby down.
Congratulations on your new addition. Labs are very good dogs. Sweet and loyal.

Yes, can't wait to get the puppy! Got the desk here. Thankfully, i didn't have to do much when it came to taking stuff up the stairs. hehe We had help when we were at the house to pick the desk up and when we got home, my neighbor's boyfriend/friend helped Terry get it up the stairs. :)

I know the terror of the police car behind me and I'm sure they're pulling me over because I was driving too fast. I'd say, "no, no, no" and then they went by me and I was so relieved. That's what this story is doing to me. What a ride! This could be considered a foreshadowing. "The trip has remained uneventful despite the dicey beginning." Things are squirming and twisting again or still.

How will they contact Abby? She's in OK somewhere and they don't have her cell number. That could take a long time, unless one of her friends can help them. Hurry up and give me a happy ending. :)

Thank you so much for reading my chapter. The police are hoping she'll call a friend and the friend will tell her that she doesn't have to run. They could broadcast it on the radio I suppose, but there's always the chance that she won't hear it. You gave me an idea. You did it again, didn't you? You're cleaver. You'll get your happy ending soon and a nice twist at the end.
Thank you again for all your help, support, encouragement and your subtle hints (don't know what I'd do without them.) It always means so much to me, take care.

Hello Mistydawn. Your chapter today pointed out something that normal person would not usually think about. She's become extremely paranoid because of her constant fear of being caught. That's an interesting show of emotion to help the reader to understand her mental condition. Robert

I hope the dirty cop is about to get caught. I don't think Abby's problem was ever with the cops. She just got unlucky with the wrong people. I'm betting things work out for her, after a scare from Antonio.

Thank you so much for reading my chapter. You're right, she wouldn't be in this mess if she hadn't met her boyfriend, grabbed the wrong gym bag. I hope you're right that it does work out for her in the end.

Abby's encounter with the cop, reminds me of being pulled over by a state trooper. I was driving a company car and going over the limit. The female officer asked to see my license, insurance, and registration. I looked in the glove box, but the registration and insurance card weren't there.

I was given three tickets. The officer asked if I wanted her phone number. I said, "Are you kidding. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you."

Thank you for your review and your funny story. You actually gave me an idea. I don't think any guy would want to date her after three tickets unless she's really hot or maybe to make a future arrangement, for her to look the other way. Can't blame the girl for trying though I guess, lol.
Thank you again for reading my chapter. Your help, support and, friendship is always greatly appreciated, take care.

It looks like Abby is off the hook, but Diego has overheard and is making a dash to tell Romero, now what? And excellent story my friend, poor Abby still thinks she's going to be incarcerated, but of course, she's innocent. Well done my friend, blessings, Roy

Good job with this story that has a few twists in it. Sounds like the woman is innocent but she doesn't know yet. Looks like they're tracking down the mole in the department. Keep on with your creative writing.
