Very interesting poem,yet a sad one also. It seems to have a vey intense meaning, involving where we get to go after death. I may have missed it entirely,but in any case this is a beautiful piece of work. Great job!

-Nice artwork, Marilyn.
-A good topic and imagery,
along with rhyme and alliteration.
-I like how you show two
sides to a dream that can
arise, and have two totally
different impacts; one is
pleasant, the other
"a ghastly drilling."
-Hope they are pleasant
ones for you; good luck
in the contest.

This is an interesting poem that leaves the reader thinking - much in the same way that dreams do. Trying to puzzle out if the poem is what it says or instead hides deeper meaning.

    I may have to consider that puzzle, also! What a nice review, thanks!

I like this poem. It's employs contrasts for emphasis:
Heaven/Hell;
dream thrilling/ghastly drilling (nightmare);

Good luck with your entry in the voting booth {smiles}.

This is an analysis of life as we know it and we experience both sides of it in dreams and in fear. The secret is to let the dreams take over, your words are profound and powerful, much enjoyed, love Dolly x
