This tetravalent, White Van Man's Reply, has the proper formatting for this new-to-me framework and acts as a rebuttal to those frustrated drivers who must share the highway with the infamous white van.

hello.
A poem that is perhaps a sign of the times or the road, me thinks.
Of course the rhyming and cadence are good, geez...who am I to question you. I would not want to be run off the page:-)

Funny, symmetric and straight to the point. Thank you for picking up Dollys idea and transforming it into something so hilarious. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

Humorous poem in response to Dollys "white van man." I had to go back and find yours after reading hers. Nothing like dueling poems. Thanks for sharing some creative humor. Bill

Something about Dolly, she often trails the coat for me and I just have to jump on it. Many thanks for reviewing.

As a blonde, and now unfortunately blind, I dearly miss my stickshift white Saab. It was better than any truck, and out manuevered the worst white van drivers imagineable. I enjoyed this, and came back for a read after reviewing Dolly's response. Good fun!
Sending you my best today as always,
Sally :)

Many thanks for reviewing this. Sorry to hear you are no longer able to compete in the cut and thrust of modern driving conditions, but in reality, you are probably better of out of it.

No wonder she's angry - they put the steering wheel on the wrong side of her van! Nicely done - aside from an entertaining take on the photo (and one sure to anger some feminists), you've introduced me to a new form and a new word ('bovver" - had to look it up).

Please, if you come to Britain, don't drive, they are all on that side over here!

Bovver is a London dialect and was used particularly of the big boots beloved of the skinheads, bovver boots (Doc Martins).

A very well-written Tetravalent and great reply to the poem about the man with the white van. White vans are not supposed to be driven by girlie girls that will not suite their image.

Lol. I can just imagine the character that you created as the persona for the white van man. And apparently, he has gripes about some women drivers as well. Great repartee in your tetravalent!

Unintelligent, biased and prejudiced. The term comes from the fact that most hired vans are white. The implication being. It ain't mine, it ain't even the boss's so I'll hammer it to death! Thanks for reviewing.

Great poem. I'm sure girls, and probably blondes, get rides easier than most men.

Just one point:
I swear you'll get your just deserts. Too right my pet. - spelling - desserts

Best wishes
Judy

This is very cleverly done, but of course women have the right to "drive crazy" as well as any man. Not that it is a good idea, however. What an interesting invented form this is, she has done well with it - and you too,
Carol

you should try it sometime. It was I who introduced Dolly to the cross rhyming that is a feature of a lot of Welsh awdl (odes)poetry. She liked it and now she sticks it in wherever she can. Lol.
