"Moonlight Serenity"
Was contest entry for the poem of the month.
(I was in it for the month of January.)
This was rich in Theme and Imagery.
It also, read well and flowed well with no Gramm alignear Issues.
...
Complete Synopsis:
The Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures aligned Perfectly!
....
Dear Ronnie,
When I decide to bequest my mind to another poet?
The first thing I do is pick one of their works that interests me.
...
I truly believe, the first snowfall of the year?
In many different places on this blessed Earth?
The place of All Human Kind's Birth...
...
Is God's way of painting the mural.
Painting the mural of Life.
And, covering our mistakes and sons from the previous months.
...
I've written on the subject many, many, hundreds of times and I've written the snow.
With a poem entitled..
"Snow"
And, rewritten it about five times.
...
Note : Sadness Level Ten
WHEN MY SON WAS TAKEN FROM ME AND LARGEST 2003 THE NEXT DAY WAS APRIL FOOL'S DAY.
...
And, his purpose at 18 years old was completed here on Earth.
I didn't ask for much from God the next three months except to join by only Begotten Son.
...
He didn't answer me but taught me.
For, it rained so many times?
That my back deck turn green.
I had to power wash and bleach it.
...
This was an example of the Angels in Heaven crying but not tears of sadness.
But tears of glee.
For their brother Jason had finally come home to *Be!
Editors Notes: *Be: n.
exist, nee, am.
...
On March 31st, 2003 my only son out of five children, Jason was involved in a terrible car accident.
...
He was in a Ford Mustang Convertible that was previously raced at Atco raceway in Atco, New Jersey by an adult driver.
...
Brian Cole, the driver, who was only seventeen, didn't want to live anymore.
He was mentally ill on medication called Effexor for depression.
...
And, as a result only, seventeen, hours, later?
We had to pronounce Jason for he was severely brain dead.

    Dear Ricky,
I must confess dear Ricky, even as I, perhaps a 'too wordy' poet
at times, your stunning comments and compliments, has left
me misty eyed and struggling for even mere adequate words
    to reply and comment.
I truly loved your reflections on the first early snowfall, so
preciously and serenely framing it as God's mural and painting
of life encompassing our human errors and losses. Related quite
readily within me. As was your praying plea and entrusting it to
Divine's Begotten Son. That too hit my reality resonance and
    inevitable choices too.
The heartbreaking loss of your beloved Jason, a most aching
resonance again; yet all the more fully grasped the meaning
and relevance of angel tears from heaven reflected tears of
glee and gladness of Jason's clasped into his Heavenly home.
A most powerfully and profound this was for me; since I
lost my only 2 son's in Iraq/Afghan wars, all the more incomparable
and nearly irreconcilable for me, since only 18 months from both
losses. I too became very weakly yet all the more humbly to
Divine; and leaving it all with Him in prayers and trust to see me
through. My significant signs of calm and peace again, by
'angel's tears', not as awesome as yours, and yours were meant
for you for your specific needs and understanding. Mine were
different in my situation, and evidenced accordingly to it. My
heartfelt condolences to you for loss of Jason.
Your last two ending lines, left me virtually speechless and
considerably more misty eyed; THANK YOU...for saying and
sharing them as such a emotional and touching appreciation!
God bless you for this most astounding reply and personal
sharing! Thanks too for tip on source for 'Organ Tissue Donation'.
    Gratefully, always! Ronni

Sorry for the late reply I've been hanging out in hell for the past 2 days I'm almost done!
    Tee, hee, hee!
    (My Newest)
this was very touching so I guess I'm we're playing a game of touch football I touched you now you touch me back so as we continue to review each other it'll be a back-and-forth battle of who can make who cried the most?
    ...
But anywho I've been on this site clothes for decade now and you're about to close this thing joy riding relationship I've had.
    ...
When I first met Cheryl Mel Woods an Aussie from the gold coast of Australia she was very depressed.
her husband had been abusing her and she didn't know what to do her recourse was in and out of mental institutions.
    ...
she had a pair of teenage older teenage brat that she couldn't control it would talk to me about them.
I would chastise her and give her advice and that's were broke up our relationship eventually.
    ...
That was about 9 years ago and I'm still thinking about her invite to come to the lake with the white swans at where she likes a right where she's going to lay out of picnic for us get me drunk and seduced me!
    ..
I'd rather be seduced with beautiful words!
And hopefully we can have a relationship here that would master Shakespeare and Hemingway!

I am sad though about the contest as this was definitely better than others :(

reply by the author on 06-Feb-2020
It's ok dear Diana, the scope
and variety of entries in this
contest had many truly some truly awesome ones!
    Still, choices made are
    what they are. One's own
    hope for winner, not always
    realized. Acceptance a
    common sense option.
Please do not linger in sadness, your choice meant
all the more to me, as also
all your enthusiasm and faithful support, and mention
for contest, all the more dearly appreciated dear.
    God bless you!
    Always grateful, Ronni

Hello dear Ronni,
Such a beautiful picture capturing God's artistry, metaphorically, elegantly written describing your inspirational view. The wind whistling a sweet lullaby to those nestled in their homes as the moon back lights winters stage. Love the idea of jotting this down before the thought or
scene changed, it's as if time stood still for your poetic pen. Hope all is well my friend, take care God bless

Gosh, I can't tell you how much I just love the word 'diadem'.... just has always struck me as eloquent beauty simply by its sound! ;) A wonderful offering, my lady, that makes even one who abhors cold weather long to see the snow-covered earth in her gown and jewels!! ;) Thanx so much for sharing your vision ... off to pour another cup of hot tea! :) Blessings, my friend! ;) :) Yvette

    Ah, hello dear Yvette,
Such a lovely and gratifying range of comments and compliments
dear, truly appreciated. Was a very compelling winter scene
captured in an overnight stay at dear friends house in semi rural
Wyoming, and my must would not let me rest till I wrote it down
in my little Diary I carry all the time...awesome view around 3AM..
My muse has no mercy when it comes to time...go with it or
pay the consequences, which you well know yourself, happens
with our muse interventions or inspirations. Nice to see
you again too, and yes of course, just as happy to join you
in that cup of hot tea pause...LOL...
Gratefully with blessings always, Ronni :) ;)

I felt the tranquility here in your words Ronni, a fine presentation and your end rhymes are spot on too, just one query here:

"Subtle ambiance enfolds beneath gentle moonlight"
Do you mean:
"Subtle ambiance (unfolds) beneath gentle moonlight"

Love Dolly x

    Hello dear Dolly,
So pleased you enjoyed the read and tranquility momentum.
And you are so right, that 'enfold' should be "unfold" and
has been changed. Thanks for the quick notice and tip.

This is outstanding in rhyme scheme form, and with meter and flow ever so smooth and gentle. Very well written, it almost seems as if you are whispering these words to me, the reader. Such wonderful alliteration and word choices, to describe twilight's serenity, after the bustle of people on the go, quietly you take in the moon's casted shadow, on a beautiful wintery scene of snow. The personal touch comes later in the poem. I was wondering why you posted under the subject title of "Letters and Diary Poetry?" I hope this subject title doesn't repel those who would otherwise love your wonderful piece. The descriptive scenery is beautifully written and deserves many readers. A lovely wintery scenic picture you chose, is well suited for this poem.
Take care, Jesse

    Dear Jesse,
Thank you for a most unique and awesome review, I am truly
pleased it resonated with you so expressively and compellingly!
Your most gracious compliments, likewise most gratifying,
especially since you described so perfectly the 'whispering words'
effect in tone and presentation, as that is how it came to me
to put into words, the feeling and effect it had on me as I observed
    it from a window of dear friends house was visiting with over night;
the more spellbound I became with it, the more the impetus to
record it in writing, to savor it all the more, and a lovely memoir
scene in my Diary for later leisure to revisit. Thus, also the answer
why I posted this in "Letters & Diary" Poetry as it is as recorded
in my Diary. I post many of mine in this category for same reason.
Once again, your comprehensive and most sensitive range of
thoughts, comments and reflections are most beautifully and
so on the mark introspectively too. And bless you, for the
added extra star award, I am all the more grateful and truly
inspired by your depth and scope of scenic scenes beauty
    and nature's winter benevolence.
    Gratefully beyond words, Ronni

    Hi Ronni.
I am so glad I got the gist of what transpired when you looked out that window and chose to write it down in your diary. Thank you for clarifying why you chose "letters and diary." Now, I see it from your viewpoint, and it makes sense. I am glad you appreciated the scope and depth of my review. Your work called for such an extensive review, in my estimation. The extra star was well deserved.
    Take care, Jesse
