LOL You are a a bit older but still just a scute as can be, my friend. I thoroughly enjoyed this ramble. I am glad to see you can still pos even if it does take you longer on your end. :)

Next time you send Augstin or Veronica to the store have them pick you up a set of glass holders that you can hang around your neck and attache your glasses to. Then just leave them on everyday until you go to bed. See? LOL X Bless you dear friend. :) Bob

Hi Sasha. i enjoyed this ramble. This is the first I've seen your writing but I expect to see more. The things I like in rambles, rants or even bombast are strong words and opinions. You have a great sentence I caught: "The item has to exist before it can be unavailable, right?" To some, that is rocket science, to me it is hilarious. :))

Robert

Dear Sasha... you needn't worry a minute about grammar, or punctuation. You tell the best stories, and that's all you need to do. We enjoy reading about your life, and there is nothing wrong with your grammar or punctuation at all. If you want to make up words, that's fine too. That's how we get new words. It is important for writers to make up words when they are needed to better explain something. So... this is a most enjoyable ramble and my only suggestion would be to leave out all the questions in parenthesis, and just post your stories as they are written. We promise to enjoy. Hugs, MM

There's only one way to give up smoking, I don't think it can be done piecemeal.i gave it up, along with gambling and drinking Back in February 1984, mind you God told me, and I said yes, I guess it depends what's more important to you. I once gave up for six months, but was offered a fag at a party, and I was off again, 1984 was the last time for everything. Well done, Sasha, blessings, Roy
Typo : I am amaze(d) to know...

Gee, my mother never told me that either. In fact, my sister learned the correct wiping process when she married a finicky man. She was in her fifties. Funny, but I never had UTI's until recently.
I have the same problem with remembering where I left my glasses even though I bought red frames!
Same with me landline phone which lands wherever I carry it. LOL.
Your posts are always a joy because the reader can always connect with at least one of your problems.

It sounds like you are having a time. My husband finds it hard to quit smoking as well as he has been attempting on and off for many years. The obstacles we face don't go away as we get older they just change.

Thanks. Weaning has lessened the number of cigarettes I smoke each day. Not sure what I'll do when I get down to just 5.

I am sorry to hear about your recent troubles Sasha. I cannot relate to having five sisters, but it sounds very tough. Have you ever thought about getting one of your friends to turn on the reading assist on your computer? I'm not sure if you'll have to download one or if your computer has one in the settings, but essentially it will read whatever your mouse hovers over, it might be helpful if you cannot see the website options? xx

I am so glad you and your mother became friends when you moved to Mazatlan and were able to share some of the foibles in your lives. I didn't realize you had five sisters--enough to challenge any mom! My solution to misplaced reading glasses is to buy three pairs at the 99 Cent Store and place them strategically around the house! (I think it should be "hyphenated" in paragraph four.) Best wishes with the continuing challenge to stop smoking. Smiles- Joan

Thanks for the suggestion. I wear prescription glasses but have found a few of the cheaper ones are as good. Thanks for the suggestion, I will try it and let you know how it works.

I mentioned it to my eye doctor, and he says he does the same thing with 1.75 to 2.00 magnification. Good luck- Joan

I think I need a new and stronger prescription. Time to go back to the eye doctor.

reply by Joan E. on 02-Feb-2020
I recently had an appointment and after 50 years, one of my early eye doctor's prediction came true. I nearsightedness finally got less and I needed a weaker prescription. It is the only thing about my health that has improved with age! Good luck with your appointment- Joan

Well, Sasha, I am in the same boat you are in therefore I can understand what you are saying about your eyesight. I have gone blind in my right eye and my left eye gets so strained it waters all the time. That makes it almost impossible to review for any length of time. That has cost me dearly in the number of reviews I get. I posted yesterday and this morning I didn't have one review. I guess I should just hang it up. Not like the old days when your fans were always there for you. I quit smoking because I was in the grocery store one day and I got a whiff of the nicotine odor on my clothes. I quit cold turkey. That is a terrible odor. I enjoyed your ramble and I know what it took to write it. Have a great week. Nancy:)

Thanks. I know what you mean about the odor of smoke. It turns white things yellow too.
