The triolet is a perfect form choice for the Requiem for the ceratoterium simum. You've captured well the main characteristics and the repeating lines work wonderfully well.

Excellent contribution to the club, Sandra. :)

A very well written Triolet in answer to the challenge of the disappearing White Rhino... they are very picky about their foods and are grazers that take half the day to eat... ;) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

Thank you for sharing this interesting triolet. Are there any white rhinos? I guess there can be albino ones. I am sure you know a lot more about these kinds of animals. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Sandra. This is a well written Triolet. Your poem flows well and is nicely rhymed. I like the word choices and rhymes: seclude/food, grains/plains/remains. Marilyn

I like the realistic take on this painting with great end rhymes of plains, grains, and remains. You did a good job with 'r' alliteration coming naturally in the lines "rest remains/untouched to rot." Sounds like those rhinoceros have to eat a long time, half the day, to keep their strength up. Nice triolet.

Sandra, thanks for sharing the creative poem about the white rhinoceros. I guess they're just about extinct. It's sad that greed almost always wins.
