Hi Bill. Flowers do seem to have faces, even mouths. This one looks like it is speaking and asking for something. Why not? Candy is one of my faves, too. The color of the tulip is cotton candy pink and it looks like it has teeth. This is an imaginative piece as is most of your work. Marilyn

Thank you, Marilyn. No pun intended, but this picture spoke to me.

What a great use of your imagination with this one. It does look like it has teeth, lol. Not sure what I'd do if something like that happened to me. I'd probably think I was losing my marbles. Nicely done, thanks for the laugh.

Hahahaha! Oh, Bill! That flower looks exactly as if it's about to say, "Feed me... Feed me..." LOL, I love it! Very Little Shop of Horrors... Just too funny :)

Lol! I would be impressed that of all human languages that the flower 1) spoke English and 2) wanted candy which would give the flower the least nutrition. But your poem fits the picture!!

The flower actually spoke in Ayapaneco, but there?s no written form. Candy isn?t nutritious?

Um hum. By the time I stopped running, I would probably have run for several miles. Never again would I ever get my ear so close to something that looks like an open mouth on a plant. As a matter of fact, if I had witnessed this from a good distance, I would have left the premises at that exact moment.

This is so cute and particularly as it matches the flower that certainly does look like it might bite. LOL.

Personifications used to the best benefit of all.

A most entertaining read this evening. :)

Hahaha. I think if that happened to me, I'd make a new gate in my fence. In fact, I know I would. What an imagination you have. Gave me a good chuckle.

Pretty white teeth, even though it likes candy. It would be a shock to hear a flower speak. Oh, no! Another moth to feed. Wonder if it wants treats like the cats do/ Maybe it'll be satisfied with candy. kind of a quirky one. judi
