Hello Aussie,
You've written an excellent ABC poem for the contest
about Australia's wonderful, unique opals.
There is much to be found in nature,
some right in front of us, others require effort
to find, open, cut, and polish.
Nice addition of the rhyme and great picture.
Well done
Best wishes to you.
Robert.

My nephew went to your country years ago when in high school. He brought back an opal for his mom. You live in an interesting place. I've been there, too. Hugs, Marilyn

Did you get to Queensland when you were here? I live on the coastal strip above Brisbane. love, Kay.

Hi Kace. I flew there years ago as I worked as a flight attendant for Pan Am. We went to Sydney only. Met some nice people there. Marilyn

In my past I did some lapidary work and the opal is a very difficult stone to polish. I cannot be polished for too long at a time until it get too hot, you may find the stone will fracture.

A very well-written ABC poem about the opal a precious stone found in Australia. It value is very high, but it takes hard and special methods to find them and make them presentable.

This is a beautiful posting, Kace. (For some reason, I find ABC poetry difficult so I always admire the work of poets here who write them so well.) Good luck in the contest!! xo
