A Haiku Bill, really? What has the world come to? I really like it,and I am duly impressed. You know, I saw a video recently that said that since the earth is actually a living organism it is quite possible and envem likely tat when there is an earthquake or a volcano eruption, it is the earth trying to ease an irritation. Who can be more irritating than mankind? Think about it.

Very good Haiku! great two-fold idea going on! I love the picture too and the color scheme you used! awesome way to show the surprise ending with the volcano vomiting! haha! xoxo

I've said it before Bill but I really enjoy the comedic essence of your poetry. I loved that satirical ending 'Vulcan vomits' which is a nice juxtaposition to how the rest of your Haiku reads. Good job! I wish you the best of luck in the contest.

There does seem to be corruption, destruction all around us. Making it sometimes seem the world is nothing but evil. Then someone does a kind deed, says a nice word and our hope in humanity is restored again. Nicely done.

I'm sure I could find a seasonal reference in here. Do volcanoes erupt more in some seasons? I like your satori ending of Vulcan vomits. Yes, I guess our poor Earth is sick of us.

What an excellent poem and presentation, your words in this short read are powerful and I like the way you have used nauseated with vomits, the blended colors work wonderfully, best wishes for your contest****kahpot

I thought you have a great Haiku Poetry Entry.
Your thoughts came together very well.
You executed the right amount of syllable usage in each line to qualify.
I wish you well in the contest.
Thanks for sharing.

So graphic a feeling of Mother Nature and how she feels we have cared for this planet. Nice job on this writing and the artwork. . .it matches perfectly. Best of luck to you in the contest.

LOL! Are we lost in the climate debate today....? This quite a thought-provoking offering that hearkens the reader back to the harshness of a mythological god while, at the same time, reminding them that we are but sojourners on this rock hurtling through the cosmos... :) Thanx for sharing and best of luck in the contest! ;) Yvete
