This is great. Your alliteration using the letter "A" and the image are a perfect combination. No slip-ups here. Poem reads smoothly, it's interesting. Marilyn

Hi Bill, and so it does. A very shrewd observation if I may say so. Hehe. I don't know what to make of this poem but it's certainly very observant. All best. Ulla:))

Alliteration overload. Clever. I don't recognise the image source. Doesn't look like alabaster. Author notes would have been helpful and illuminating. Cheers - DJ

Aaaaaaah, yes, the letter 'A' (wink, wink)... actually pretty cool, Bill as long as it's the first in a twenty-six poem collection....Ay? ;) :) Great fun, sir -- your audience is pleased! ;) :) ;) Yvette

Very enjoyable. I admire your use of "a" in this. It's inspired you to use some great words like alabaster and antebellum. This has a lovely sound, but could be a bit of a tongue-twister. Don't try to say it too rapidly. Lovely artwork which shows the letter A. judi

It apparently stands for Arkansas, if the photographer is to be believed.

What does it all mean? At what point does an "A" rating start to lose its significance? Nothing can be that consistently good. Listen, if the place looks sufficiently good and clean , give your own rating. If the answer to a written test look mostly right, give the poor kid an A, for trying anyway. As are not that important anymore, at least not in my world.

I'm amazed by such phenomenonally consistent alliteration which all fit the image beautifully. I can tell you had fun with this one and your word choices have a great rhythm. Nice job!

I wonder what the "A" stands for but it is about the American civil war, perhaps the "A" stands for America? Colin, the stonemason from England, who writes poetry would like this poem, love Dolly x

Hi, Bill, you know who could do that? Colin. (Colin Lowley) I don't know if you've read him. He's a stonemason in England, third-generation I think. Works on all of their old buildings. I think it's one of the most awesome jobs I've ever heard of. Very cool to be able to make yourself a part of history in that way... like the person who made your alabaster A... I liked the A poem by the way... very cool. :)

Bill,

You aced this a-letter alliteration verse! An awesome agglomeration of associated words (-: IMHO you achieved a lot in your short style poem.

Nice job!

Mark
