This was very well written and is a great way to advertise the classes that you offer. I actually didn't even realize you could take courses on Fanstory. I love the imagery as well as the rhyming style of your piece.

Thank for this review. On your profile page you will find the Main Menu. In there you need to click on Classrooms. Click on that then on the class you are interested in and the details will come up. If you want to try for the scholarship go to Social and Clubs then Scroll down to Scholarship club. Joining commits you to nothing but more details become available and I will write to you to welcome you to the club.

Excellent and clever interpretation of Frost's work. The picture and font colour scheme worked perfect with this piece. I liked your comments after the poem. Great job. Blessings. ~Brenda

I celebrate the strong language that you use, especially the line ab out fire and ice. Of course, each of us here in this site would like to write like this, with such passion and aggressiveness. I m visually impaired, I wonder but I would like to participate...

Thank you for responding to this. I would love tto have you join the class. We use a program called Teamspeak3 that allows to talk to each other in real time during the classroom sessions and I imagine you have a way of coping with your visual problem since you are active on the site. Out written communication has always been via email so if you can read those and attachments to them i can see no real problem, but you would need to be the judge of that.

For awhile now I've been exploring the various forms of rhyme, and find fascinating repeated line poetry, such as the villanelle, rondeau, quatern and kryrielle, I even invented a multi rhyme form I called rime sestera, and a repeating form I called a taknas. But yes, I agree with Robert Frost I'm afraid. Well done my friend, go well, blessings, Roy

Many thanks for these comments. There is room for all tastes of poetry in my opinion. That is why I call my class, Rhyme a poetic device rather than a form in itself.

reply by royowen on 04-Mar-2020
I?m actually agreeing with you. All forms are valid, otherwise self righteousness reigns supreme.

Hello to you Pantygynt
Robert Frost is one of my favorite poets.
I see that you did an excellent way of letting us fanstorians
aware of the advantages to come and enjoy the fray

Hello Tom, this has to be the classiest advertisement for a poetry course, or indeed anything at all. This is really well written and a joy to read. Your first stanza with reference to Peter denying Christ thrice before the cock crows twice - lucky to have that old word 'thrice'. Well written with reference to Robert Frost - nice picture, nice looking man. Well this stanza should pull in the poetry and the religion lovers. Clever.
Next the nitty gritty of the actual subject - the various poetry forms old and new. A well written stanza number two. Number three - again brilliant. Very impressive - a Scholarship Club, that word caught my eye. All in all an incredibly well written poem and I wish you well. Very nice, colourful display. Regards Dorothy x Review a bit long so - E&OE.

No. I am not Tom! He's the boss, I'm Jim and I just teach. Lol. Many thanks for reviewing this advertisement.

OMG Jim - I meant just that JIM. Just a dizzy moment - I have them often. Dx

This is a very interesting and well written poem about your rhyming class that is soon approaching. You used very good words and a nice invitation to come and join with you all. I enjoyed reading and reviewing this. Who knows, maybe I will check this out! Blessings, Teri

I enjoyed your use of Robert Frost's Fire and Ice form to promote your class. One of these days, I hope to be less over-scheduled and be able to take one of your appealing classes. Enjoy your April class- Joan

I truly loved this poem. It is clever, it is also beautiful, and it carries a lot of meaning as well. It makes me want to take your class.

I think I could definitely learn a lot from someone who writes like this.
I will sign up for sure. I'm glad there are still some who resist the extinction of rhyming poetry.

Thanks for sharing this.

I am pleased you liked my little advertising jingle. It was I thought a horribly over-egged pudding, but that is what it was designed to be -- to show what could be done rather than what ought to be done. I would love to have a 'natural' poet of your calibre on the class.

Thank you so much for giving this a six star grade.

reply by MissMerri on 04-Mar-2020
I thought it showed the extraordinary talent and creativity of its author, and therefore deserved a six. ;?)
