This is a good way to fight back Barb against the Big C by having a name to yell at when you're feeling low.
She took my soul against my will. - I remember writing a similar thing in my cancer journaling. thanks for sharing this one Barb,
cheers,
valda

Jasper Hill the name of the big cancer has long been your constant companion, now she is dead and you are free, you have survived cancer; very nice emotion and attitude with description given about her.

She is not easier to fight but with a name it is less scary. Thank you

Barb, This is a very well written poem you have penned about the Jasper Hill in your life. You used great descriptive words and very good imagery from the art work you chose. love and blessings, Teri

A very well-written self motivated poem. If we can not beat the monster inside us who slowly kill u day by day, we can just as well give it a name to fight it directly.

Your did a great job with this poignant poem, Barb. It is well-written with good rhymes, smooth flow, and great imagery. I know of what you have shared on FS. I applaud you for your courage in the face of your health issue. Yes, scream and shout at this foe. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good fight. Respectfully, Jan

Another fine poem about that horrible Jasper Hill of a cancer. She needs to be told to take a hike and never return. You're a very strong woman, Barb and sometimes I wonder how you keep such an even, good spirit through all your trials.

Excellent post and written in your signature strong rhythm and rhyme.

Gloria

Well my money's on Barb-H and not Jasper Hill --- any lady with enough spunk to put Jasper Hill to shame like this (and with meter and rhyme, to boot!) will take care of Jasper Hill! ;) You go, girl!! ;) Yvette

Another fine poem, Barb--great name for a complete bastard--'if you're listening, Jasper Fricking Hill, you're throbbing bastard-tool, leave my friend Barb alone!" There, that told it!

It obviously works Barb, "I didn't invite you, what are you doing here, begone in Jesus name." I would tell it every day. But then you're the brave one dealing with it. Beautifully written Barb and well said, you are an inspiration to us all. This is beautifully written my friend, blessings, Roy

Interesting idea to give cancer a name. I know that this nasty enemy is under God's control and I hope you are getting all the support you need and whatever things that add to your comfort. Sending hugs and prayers!
