-Good artwork and story, Yvette.
-It shows how crazy things are
at your house, and probably
many more like it:)
-I like your comments
in the opening paragraphs,
wondering how they survived at college!
-I wonder if Jonathan is a
"chip off the block?" He seems
pretty business savvy and clever!
-Great ending and story.
-You could start a series of
these to show us what
your household is like these days!
-Good luck in the contest.

Nooooo..... I write to avoid reality not wallow in it - LOL!! ;) :) :) Thanx for your review, my lady -- always so good to hear from you! ;) Yvette

You are very welcome, Yvette. I didn't mean wallowing in it, but showing it in a lighter, more creative way, the zaniness of it all:)

LOL!! I know, Pam, you know me: I can be a bit 'sarcastic'.... maybe.... once in a while.... wink, wink! ;) Take care of you, my lady! ;) Yvette

Fun and games! A very entertaining young man. Jonathan sounds like he has the lead in this family. Yvette, are they all home because of the pandemic?

Thanx so much, Rafy, for stopping in on this one! ;) I'm so glad you enjoyed the young man's ingenuity -- I could certainly see one of my boys doing this... not all, mind you, just one or,perhaps, a second - lol! ;) Thanx for the review! ;) Yvette

Poo Mom is always expected to be the go-to problem solver. What a nightmare having to adjust to a full house 24/7. There'll always be someone with a sharp eye to making a profit from other's laziness or inattention... in this case it made for a humorous story. I hope no one got hurt.

LOL!! Wouldn't know about the hurt, my lady -- this was totally fiction pulled out at that final hour of the contest - lol!! ;) :) But I'm so glad you enjoyed the young man's ingenuity -- I could certainly see one of my boys doing this... not all, mind you, just one or,perhaps, a second - lol! ;) Thanx for the review! ;) Yvette

Hey Yvette. Sometimes one can be a houseful. Four at a time could be a hangar full. :) At least Jonathan was showing he had learned something at school in his economics class. :))

Good complete story for the contest. Good luck.

Thanx for stopping in on this one, Z -- it's easy to make up stuff about a house full these days [at least mine's only 2 or 3 extras -- three when the oldest comes back for his 'off' stretches.... he's an ADA and, since they suspended all court, they are just taking turns 'holding down the fort'.... so when he's not 'holding', he comes home! ;) :)] Thanx for the 'luck'! ;) Yvette

Haha, this was a really fun read! It documents the trouble between siblings when they are forced together. Jonathan is very smart, make the most out of a situation, it was Tommy's fault after all.

Thanx so much, Beautiful Girl, for stopping by on this one -- the Flashes are fun and challenging (and they don't take a lot of time which is right up a crazy teacher's alley right now!!)... Take care of you out there! ;) Yvette

Ah, we have here a snappy scenario of what's it like when the kids don't have school. And, there is a surprising ending. Fits nicely with the pic.

This is an amusing and the beginning of Jonathan's entrepreneurship for sure. Best of luck in the contest with this well written flash fiction. Life changes when the kids are home from college. Marilyn

We moms are always thought about our kids the answer to their Fix-It problems or where is it problems although it might be right in front of their eyes but they always yell for Mom. By habit I would say. But johnny-come-lately(Jonathan) Incorporated his own agenda in the midst of the old traditional crew. Nice typical family story

I definitely couldn't deal with a full house during this crisis. It sounds like that house was chaotic! I like what you've done with this and enjoyed reading this inspirational and well written work. Well done.

Pretty good thinking on this one! That might work in real time but the kid might get the dickens on all sides if he pulled that off. Nice story! Best wishes in the contest.
