Your alliteration that creates an onomatopoetic effect. I have to give you an A+ for the cleverness. This poem sounds like a washing machine. This poem needs to be read over and over from beginning to end to get the full effect. I'm voting for this one.

I think this is a good entry for the 8 Word Poetry contest.
The fun verse is well matched by the artwork.
Well done and I wish you good luck with the contest.

Enjoyed the puns in this piece ie: washed up sea lebrity and a washed up drifter. Thought you had a great idea writing this pun filled poem about a starfish singer whose career is constantly sinking. Well done.

I think this is my first ever review on a super shorty. This actually tells a story. It's also clever. I love the fact that Sandy Starfishy actually admits to being a sea-lebrity. That last sentence alone rates five stars.

I have seen starfish washed up on the beaches and often wondered why. I did a little research and found that starfish live on the bottom of oceans and are pulled up by huge storms.

Interesting poem.

Thanks for reviewing. I've seen plenty of starfish on coral reefs, quite close to the surface, but I suppose they are vulnerable to storms as well as the deep ocean dwelling ones.

You have the required eight words for your poem.

The picture you selected accompanied was a great selection.

Everyone needs a good chuckle, and you provided it! Thanks!!

I enjoyed your poem.

You certainly have made excellent use of all of your words in this clever,
lively, descriptive piece. I especially like "sea-lebrity," and the artwork is adorable.

And yet, this celebrity knows how to karaoke. Once a name is out there, the fame is too. Well thought out poem. Clearly and creatively written. Great play of words and S-word alliteration. Good assonance prominence from f-t-y.

Happy Easter Weekend :)
