Congrats on winning the contest. This is very creative! The picture and words complement each other well. I wonder, is this ekphrastic? (written about the artwork). I find using artwork can spark my muse to write a poem when the muse is silent. This is witty, expressive and even a bit cute.

This writer's block 5-7-5, Ugh, has the proper formatting and finds that waiting on the inspiration for writing is sometimes a POE replacement for rest and food.

I had a good laugh at this. Sometimes that is how it feels when you are trying to find your inspiration. And I could feel the heavy sigh as I finished the piece.

Oh, this is just a screamer! Yep, I can relate this week with a back injury. It's hard to write or find your muse when you have to ice every hour. This is delightfully funny in short verse poetry.

Oh no! I hope your feeling a little better now! so sorry :( I sometimes get inflammation in my neck disk and they have recently been giving me 1 500 ml Ibuprophen and 500 ml Tylenol like twice a day taken together at same time. It really helped. Praying for you my friend! :) xo
