Chaos reigns supreme in a world without a dream - I think you're right with that line Aussie for there has certainly been plenty of chaos bouncing around in 2020. Hopefully it isn't too late to mend the day.
Well said, well written and with emotion and passion that comes out in this poem.
cheers,
valda

Hi Kace, it says in the Bible God doesn't want us to live in fear...that he will not forsake us...and I believe that...this will all pass on Nov 3rd...I told Michael when the Democrats were losing all the impeachments...that they would find something else...but until then it was going to be a Armageddon until the 3rd...let them keep going...people in New York are leaving there by the thousands...a lot are going to Florida...freedom...everything open...and all is well...

a few times I wish I hadn't come home...but I have a lot of friends here...so we all meet at each others houses...and eat and talk...

and you are so right sweetie pie...life and free will...not death and strife...we will find our way back my beautiful friend...I love your poem you....and love this stunning picture...very well written...love you bunches....Linda xxoo

11,000 people marched today against racism, deaths in custody etc. I believe this to be the tip of the iceberg. So, not just America my friend, people are marching all over the world.

Yes, the world is in a mess. There are so many 'things' that need attention. Your poem reads well with great imagery. I like the rhymes, too. The Lord gave man free will and look at the result seen in so many areas--greed, strife, hate, fear, destruction. Thanks for sharing.

This is a strong rhyming couplet posting, Kay. The message holds the key to ending all the chaotic destruction going on in so many cities. I suspect, however, the looters, fire-starters, and angry mobs are actually enjoying themselves with no regard to the destruction done to innocent neighbors. It is devastating to so many good families.

Unfortunately, I think it is only the tip of the iceberg. For too long the indigenous peoples have been treated like second-hand citizens. In my country we have 'sorry day' what a joke. The whites enslaved the owners of our country. If you read Revelation in the Bible, it says the blacks will rise up. Thanks for reading my friend.

Such powerful but absolutely so very true Kace, you have nailed the pin on the head, so to speak. What ever happened to nature's rules? What ever happened to mankind? Well done.

Hello my friend, This is the tip of the iceberg, indigenous peoples, stolen generation, the redman all made to serve the whites. I feel for your innocents caught up in the riots. Thanks for reading. Love, K.

You are so welcome K. There have been many riots but the one I remember most was back in the 1980s when Korean members got on their roofs with rifles and shot looters

The world kid indeed in chaos and we have no one to blame but ourselves. Man's greed and arrogance have created a world with no respect for nature or human life. Free will that resulted in bad choices...

Hello June, It says in the Book of Revelation, the blacks will rise up. Man's inhumanity to man, they won't stop across the world, they will join their brothers. Thanks so much for reading. Love, Kay.

A very strong poem. Full of honesty and sorrow, yet not without hope. Yes, we need God in this time of crisis. None of out worldly leaders knows what they are doing.

"I have a dream"... we need voices that will inspire us. Voices that can lead by ... eloquence and example. Sigh. But observing nature, my son when young pointed out to his grandfather a pretty Queen Anne's Lace flower. Grandpa said it was a weed. I said, if desired, we will call it a perennial and I put the flower in a vase. (not sure what that had to do with the poem) sorry - I like the third stanza a lot. Trends... they don't stay in fashion long, do they?

Hi Margaret, Leadership is a privilege, not a right. The future is in our hands. God gave us free will - look what we have done and all by ourselves. Blessings, Kay.
