I don't live in the States, but when Martin Luther King was shot I had a sense of impending doom about the path that America was on. Unity, love, and peace seem insurmountable, but I keep praying for it. Satan will NOT win. We MUST overcome these seeming-impossibilities by embracing real Christian lives in GOD's loving grace.

Hello Pharp,
It's a nice piece of Commentary and Philosophy Non-Fiction having impressive phraseology, captivating flow throughout from the beginning to the end, transparently depicting the sad scenario in the US caused by Coronavirus and aggravated by Satan through the people infuriated over the brutal death of Mr. Floyd.
The writer has beautifully shown the path to come out of this heinous turmoil: Peaceful protest + sincere prayer.
"This is the time we should seek God even more. The Lord is a God of Justice."

I am swept away by the beauty and power of your poem!
Yes, a good man has died unjustly, but no one really wants his memory tarnished by looting and rioting. But I believe in well orchestrated protests. Your poem tells us to gives the power of life back to God; God is in control. I believe in the power of prayer, Portia. Sometimes God takes back his Saints when they've been mistreated beyond repair here on Earth, in order to give them everlasting joy and love with Him.

    Your words are very wise and true, God is all knowing, sees all and all is done according to His will. Mr. Floyd's life was already predestined by God before he entered his mother's womb. This is the time to show unity and peace, nothing is achieved by rioting and looting.

    Your poem was very worthy of 6 stars. I agree about George Floyd serving God?s purpose to galvanize people around the world on this issue. Too many times in recent past abuses like this have gone on.
    Thank you for telling me about my photo, Portia. I don?t know why it?s on its side! Lol. I?ll try to fix it. God has been so good to me especially this week as I learned some bible passages and have been uplifted by a lot of poetry.

Amen and amen! When I heard the news of Mr. Floyd, I cried, too. And I thought of all the mothers in our country who would be worried for their sons just because of the color of their skin.
So much has not changed in all these decades. And I was relieved to hear that the officer was charged with first degree murder. It seems he actually worked with Mr. Floyd back in Houston.
God Who has seen all will judge in His perfect justice. May justice be done here and that people will be unified by doing right.

You did a great job, pharp, with your article about the current situation. With the horrific virus crisis, the USA did not need another crisis. However, it was handed to us by several uncaring individuals. Now it is up to those who are believers to pray and as you say not cease. We need help to defeat the virus AND the way others are treated by those in authority. My prayers are for God to help with both of these vital issues. Thanks for sharing.

What a Powerful our commentary of what we are now experiencing of the virus and the death of a man that from what I saw, was liked by many friends.
Indeed in my opinion and hope others feel, is the work of Satan doing his evil ways of trying to show his wicked power.

Your commentary on the state of affairs in the U.S.A.
and around the world is spot on. Satan never rests and
seeks opportunity to spread bloodshed and heartache.
I am deeply disturbed by the actions of the white
police officers who murdered George Floyd. I grew up in
bi-racial neighborhood and was blessed to have African
American friends. I learned to respect my brothers and
sisters of color and have many friends today.
My children were adopted from South Korea when they
babies. We got a taste of racism but never to the degree
of the George Floyd's of the black community.
My heart goes out to all the suffering families. I
believe in the Universal Christ, who loves all His children.
Through and perseverance we will prevail through
Jesus Christ.
