I didnt know that thanks for information.

God will heal the land.

I appreciate the image you have used as self explanatory.

The language was simple to understand

Really? I didn't know that. I have two cute dogs that people like to pet! When my cats get this close to my dogs, they kind of "freeze". Not sure what form it will take :)

Hello my friend. Thanks for dropping in. Apparently, I stuffed up with this poem because it had to be so many syllables and an internal rhyme. I can't do that, wouldn't even try. I see you have a massive amount of Covid cases, especially bad in Florida. Thinking of you my little possum. Much love, Kace.

your so welcome you Sweetie Pie...

not to worry...the count is WAY off...
US health dept...said that a lot weren't corona that were said to be...demos were counting if someone got bite by a shark...health dept said that...and everyone knew as soon as chaz/chop was gone...it would go back to corona...what has happened is they are testing more than they did before...but if they hadn't up the testing...we are going down on deaths...but like any normal virus or flu...they are all over the country every season...most people have figured out what this is all about...the sad thing is not the virus...it is all the innocent people living in the democrat states...having to live where their governors and mayors are promoting violence...destroying their states...I have never seen anything like this...never thought I would...love you much too...Linda xxoo

This is a cute look at how we can transmit covid. I like the theme of the dog and cat hugging, my cats and dogs always got along. Great two line poem and best wishes for the contest.

Cute photo of the older dog and the little kitten and your two line poem is well thought out with today's Covid world. Loved the opening line, thinking of the Elvis song. Nicely done,
cheers,
valda

This is totally off the scale for sweetness...The look on that kitty is so tender...and the pooch looks quite contented. This should do very well in the Two Line Poem contest, Kay. It also offers a helpful and healthy tip regarding that dreaded virus. I think it's a fantastic posting! xo

The photo is adorable. Dogs and cats are so cute together when they get along.
It's a strange world right now. I usually like to pet my friend's dogs, but am giving them the social distancing. It will be interesting to see the long term effects of this virus on our social behaviors.

Hello W.J. It is a strange world, I believe a person with covid can pet a dog and pass it on. Tip of the iceberg I think. Thanks for reading. K xx

Ha, very cute photograph. The dog is exercising superb patience.

Just one thing, this contest calls for two six syllable lines each with one internal and end line rhymes.

An easy repair so I wish you great luck with the Contest Committee.

Gloria

G'day Lady of the Lake. I'm sorry, I am dyslexic, I don't know how to change what you suggested :-( that is why I only write without counting and I wouldn't know what an iambic metre was (a sheep with one eye?) Any suggestions Oh, clever one? XX K

Sad but true fir people. I could hear Elvis Presley's tune 'Love Me Tender' playing in my head as I read this. I love the rhyme, the smooth flow, the cute image, and your message. I know how you meant this as a warning. It is scary that this virus has affected the world as it has. Thanks for sharing and best wishes.
Respectfully, Jan

This is a cute picture and I really enjoyed your bit of humorous sarcasm interjected into the moment because of Covid-19.
This virus has certainly impacted everyone's life these days.
Thanks for sharing
