How lovely this is Miss Ronni!
I especially liked 'soul kissed
with no shore to claim' and 'like
gypsy dances'...so very poetic.
The picture is so yearning, it suits
this very well.
Just wonderful,
hope you are well!
Blessings...

Hi dear Irish Rain,
Thank you for your appreciative comments and compliments on
this one. Sea has always been a mesmerizing contemplation,
muse always lingers there longest. Sure do miss the Ca.
beaches! We're in a hot spell here of several 100 + days...
Am doing fine, thank you for the kind wishes. Likewise, hope
you are too.
Love, blessings always, Ronni

Humans spend a lifetime, short as it turns out to be, searching and hoping true happiness will find them. Yet that once or twice, we turn our backs on the sincere possibility, because we just aren't sure, it isn't the right time, situation, or we are afraid to give up a mediocre sure thing or security, abandoning every little boy and girl's dream. I spent a lifetime chasing all the things I thought were important, while missing out on all the things that really should have been. "Time waits for no one." And it's the one thing we can never get back. Great job! And thanks for sharing.

Hi Ric,
You cite a sad and sorry mistake and misconception so many
people make due to so many time consuming indecisions,
over cautions, fears and confusions and sobering latter day
reckonings, often many years late, so pitifully lost and never
retrievable. And at such a destructive personal loss and regret. A
sobering reminder so insightfully conveyed!
I truly hope, since your own personal awareness of such
irony and loss, your choices, directions and discretions are
more positive, rewarding and fulfilling in every way possible.
Thank you, for your thoughtful, considerate and appreciative
comments on this poem, and kindly sharing too.
Very best wishes to you always! Ronni

Very occasionally my mind has drifted, (which is silly really) dwelling on things that could have been handled better, but my silly nature and my ill conceived judgement led me in other directions. Beautifully written Ronni, this is a marvellous work, blessings, Roy

I?ve learnt to not take myself too seriously, but it?s tough knowing God?s wisdom, and looking at the world?s wisdom, it wasn?t difficult to embrace God, In fact I?m a total fundamentalist and believer in the supposed bad and the good of God?s word, my dismay is that believers downsize God, which I think is saying that God is not able to be huge in stature. We get fixated by unimportant things. bless you, yes I can laugh at myself, God and I agree, I?m a fool, but a fool for God, I know you ?get it? so bless you Ronni.

There is something so touchingly moving about this poem. It has a mysterious quality too, that somehow tugs at the heartstrings and makes one wonder about what has caused the hurt. I love the ocean references and your beautiful painting enhances the mysterious mood. This is, truly, a work of art ... musical, mystical words full of emotional impact. Thank you for the pleasure of reading this.

Thank you dear Miss Merri,
for such a lovely and marvelous array of comments and compliments
on this one, and especially that you enjoyed it so!!! That is even
added reward to the very generous 6th star dear friend!
Your inspiration and friendship still admirably dwells and lingers with me from when we first joined FS and got acquainted and
connected as friends through the years. I wish I had more
time to read more of yours, and even if I don't get to comment
on them, I do still read and marvel at them....and your Poetry
book! Surely there is another book due soon from you???
Love, blessings, Ronni

tides, with a force that is uncontrollable, yet a survival act of nature. mesmerizing, tantalizing, fearful. my favorite lines; winds of rising tide achingly soul kissed, with no shore to claim. brilliant

Hi Lulube,
Welcome treat and surprise dear to have you peek in!!! I am so
pleased you enjoyed this one, sea has always been my most
solace and meditation resource, for happy memories and sometimes for sad times and reflections good for the heart
and soul to flow, like a tide out to sea.
Hope all has been well with you and are safe and well.
Thanks again for the thoughtful and complimentary comments!
Blessings, best wishes, Ronni
