5-7-5 Poem Write a 5-7-5 poem. This is a poem with only three lines. The catch is there is a strict syllable count. The first line has 5 syllables, second 7, third 5 again. See an example and details in the announcement.
Other than misspelling July, this is awesome. The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost remains my favorite and Ive not regretted it either. A fine one in blue formatting.
Sending you my best today as always,
Thank you for these encouraging words, Jaybird! Appreciate you sharing because I know you have walked this road which "seemed long, so far to go" but you have won those battles and encourage us to do the same. Blessings to you!
This poem shows the loneliness of old age. It's hard when all friends and family is gone. Even children or nieces and nephews. I recognized the title as a take off of Frost. This is a good rewriting of it.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

In the twilight of our days, we see that that the journey was shorter than we thought, and that we are ultimately on our own (at least in this world).
One small edit you may want to consider:
"with never anytime to waste" I think you mean (any time).
a life lived to the fullest and with no regrets, and at the end if it seems that you are not alone , you are not - God is there :"This life is short, though it is grand-
Seek in your search that promised land' Thank you for sharing.
