and the theme of time.

"The Clock Keeps Ticking", is an extremely well-written and deftly descriptive piece. Penned with craft and skill, this talented poet tells it as he sees it. I wish you all the luck in the world with your wishes.
That is such a lovely way to think of life and ultimate death. Though death is the beginning of a new life, it's fun to enjoy the trip as we head towards it. Some get to live a full life-time, others seem to be taken before they've had a chance to get started. We must take what we are given, gratefully, and fully.
Well done, Jaybird, I really enjoyed reading your poem. Have a lovely day! :)) Sandra xx
My favorite part was, "Keep love, compassion by your side,
to guide you through this joyous ride.
The hope and courage it will bring,
makes life seem like eternal spring.", because I thought that these were some pretty wise words to live by!
The Lord led me to this verse after I read this,
New International Version
12 Teach us to number our days,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Another masterpiece from the master here on FanStory. Your writings always have way of lifting my spirits, ending on such a beautiful note - beyond the sunset. Just lovely. Thanks for sharing your talent and your point of view ;)
I really like this poem. The message is clear. The rhyme and rhythm perfect! None of us know for sure where we will end up in the end. Just for spite, I refuse to die so I'll never have to face my destination. LOL
