A very well-written six word poem about a desperate man who are willing to work for something to eat. That shows food for this man have more value than money.

Yes, we have a duty to care for the less fortunate. Good to hear about the homes. Of course, some wouldn't live in a house. Our aborigines trashed a toilet block built for them. Much love, Kace.

Judging by the bowed head, the photo doesn't exactly state he's a happy man, and one person as well as the more favoured ones deserve to be fed. Jesus said, who cares for the poor, cares for Him, there but for God's Grace, go we. Beautifully written Kay, great amount said in few words, good luck, blessings Roy

Your words are true and selflessness leads us to care for others. You did well with the six words poetry contest. The picture is so sad, so many homeless in the world today.

It's one of the most important themes there is, and your picture augments it poignantly. If only those who have abundance would realize how rewarding altruism is....

Fine entry for the contest.

Good luck!

Warmly, rd

G'day little deer, thanks so much for your words of encouragement. We don't realise how deep this problem is. You would have seen much in your travels. Mother Teresa didn't care about sects, she just lifted them. Much love, K xx

What a sad and all to common picture, Aussie. Your words, though few, sum it up nicely. Great job with the requirements of the contest. Your words carry a strong and loving message.
Best wishes.
Respectfully, Jan

Unfortunately, I am seeing more selfishness than selflessness in the world these days. One act of kindness an go a long way in making someone feel valued again. But it takes a kind heart to see a need - and to fill it.

G'day June, Yes, much selfishness and violence abounds. Still, we have to have faith, hope and love because that is all that will get us through. Love, Kay xx

You packed volumes in this line; and your picture speaks a thousand words. I see those men standing on roads and highways by the passing cars.

It's a compassionate write; I wish you luck in that contest.

Good luck in the contest, Kace. I am not sure if your six word poem or the sign he holds says more. It is a shame that people tend to forget the homeless, but then there are great scam artist out there that panhandle to get richer. I for one believe that the homeless need food and shelter and proudly help in the food kitchens wherever I am. Great job.
