A very well-written flash fiction about the moment two brothers ruined their father's new paint for his art studio. They were punished at that moment but later they find a snapshot of them smiling next to the dried tubes and discarded paintbrushes.
A lovely little tale of entrepreneurs stifled at birth. It would have been great to have recorded how your pupils went on to become great, prizewinning artists but this was not to be.
Some points about contests on FanStory. 1. The normal format is to leave a blank line between paragraphs. Unformatted work such as this is liasble to be disqualified by the judges. 2. This reads like non fiction and this is a fiction contest. First person stories do tend to read as if they were memoirs or autobiography.
I feel that on both these counts this is likely to be disqualified.
