    Thank you, Alie, for your comments and the stars. :) I hadn't written because I was in Brownsville looking after my mother-in-law, she was alone with a broken wrist. I'm glad you liked it. This free-verse could go either way. Trick or treat. ;)

    Oh my goodness I do hope she is improving. I agree that a free verse can go either way but your message was very prominent.

Beautiful writing. I like the wording here nicely done. Come on baby light my fire. Remember that song so well. ð???a song to stir the delight that winter night. As we huddled around our humble home. Sharing the warmth of bodies rubbed shoulders and smiled into each other's eyes the song played on come on baby light my fire. Love this. Well done. Love the photo.

Oh, that sounds scary! I never liked playing with fire - and am cautious even cooking! Thanks for this fun free verse and I can remember Jose Feliciano's wonderful guitar playing!

I'm still not sure if they literally or figuratively burned the house down...but then that's the charm in it. It could be either or both. It doesn't matter, I loved it. I
