This non conformity po-"is" had my attention from start to finish. I like to be sucked up into the whimsy of a rhyme and this definitely did that for me.

Funny but with a lot of truth sprinkled in. Nonconformist around the world are rejoicing. Poetry, is also art and staying within rigid ruled limits creativity.

I guess there's so many forms, then there's free verse, and now there's this form, varied meter, and some "interesting" rhyme and meter, and I think you've made a hole in one with this entry. It seems to me it's harder to write variation that conform, so well done, an excellent post, blessings Roy

Dear Mystery Writer,

hahaha Did you know that National No Rhyme Day is observed each year on September 1st? I have been thinking for months and months about how to write a poem that ALMOST rhymes... but doesn't.

This is so stinking impressing. *smile* Though you tossed your reader every way but loose, this was absolutely brilliant. Loved it!

I would try to actually point out my favorite parts and why - but then we'd be here all day and I'd still end up including the whole post!!

This one will do well in the contest - that's my prediction... and if you don't mind, I'll also keep it. haha

I love the Nonconformity. Good rhyme in the poem without dragging out
the old stand by words. Visibly pleasing the way you weaved the lines
and stanzas. Art work is a good compliment to the work. Great job, good luck in the contest.

A very well-written poem about nonconformity to some rules in poetry to make it an interesting mixture of individuality. Mixed meter and unusual rhyme at different places seems just the thing to try.
