Thanks Julie! I'm not wise enough to "advise" anyone...(smile)---
But I'm happy to credit the muse with allowing these words to sneak into my head! Thanks--Karenina

Hi Karenina, this poem is so deep in honesty and almost timeless words that could have been said many times way back when, yes in a garden that they sit together amongst nature. The colors in this photo are fantastic. Many thanks for sharing, Kind regards Colin. xx

So glad you enjoyed this one. We ought not have favorite children or poems, someone once said... But I admit, I'm content with how this one worked itself out... Thank you!---Karenina

Hello Karenina,
Nice piece of poetry having impressive phraseology, enchanting flow throughout from the beginning to the end with lovely rhyming scheme, and beautifully depicting its down-to-earth view of life.
2nd stanza is particularly noteworthy.

tres romantic! well done. I like the flow, the rhythmic, the rhyming and of course the message that true love will prevail in the end if we are open to the possibility

"If we are open to the possibility." No truer words ever spoken Jake! I have to wonder how many times we all veer off tis path to unconditional lasting love for fear of getting rejected or hurt...

    Thank you!--Karenina

Wow, such a wonderful poem that makes me think of Frank Sinatra ,- unforgivable you are to me - through time and seasons two hearts one soul. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

My favorite part was, "'Tis nebulous, this serendipity...", because I've never heard the word nebulous and learned a new word today because you used it in this! Thank you!

The Lord led me to these verses after I read this,

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 New International Version (NIV)

16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Yes! And also there is this:

"1 Corinthians 13:4?8a: Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth."

If we believe and remain faithful in our love of God and our partner we are twice blessed!

    Thank you--Karenina

"Before The Touch", is an exceptionally well-written, and delightfully descriptive piece. It was a privilege, to both read and review. To me, this is definitely a six. I very much, look forward to seeing your next post.

What a lovely poem this is of a promising relationship. The indication in the message of a special mature intimacy creates the imagery referred to in your author's notes. A very wise connotation.

K,

How lovely! I think, as we age, things become much more precious and dear than we ever realized before. The wind on our face, a sunset, time spent with a special friend, or remarkable moments with a lover. You described this feeling well.

Thanks!

You get me. So true that although this poem focuses on two people, I do believe that in all things we learn with age to appreciate and value every precious moment of life we are blessed with! Thank you--Karenina
