Hello Jay,

This one is full of good advice for all your readers. I've always heard "live today like there's no tomorrow" and that's the truth. It tis as you said, "we never know when the clock is going to run down."

Take care, my friend...Bill

This poem has a nice rhythm to it and the rhymes are also pleasant, and although not unique, they do work well. The message is hopeful and optimistic.

I agree with your poem. Leave the past behind, live for the present and have faith in the future. God will not abandon His own. The battle rages on, we are safe in the arms of Jesus.

I love your philosophy, that any day could be the last so, rather than dwell on the past, just enjoy each new day as it comes. Those are definitely words to live by. Your poem flows well and rhymes beautifully, and your gratitude and optimism for life are contagious.

I've encountered your sonnet work before, and always enjoy your thoughts and the format. You are at a vantage point few of us are blessed to reach, and your poem feels like a hand reaching out to pull me along. Thanks for sharing, and good luck with each new day.

In these times it is hard not to think of tomorrow and what more problems it brings. We all should be glad we are still alive with the virus resurging. We have to look for some hope to stay sane.
Keep writing and stay healthy

Jaybird,
What is so true about today, tomorrow and yesterday is that we as humans can not stop it...can not alter it....we can not go backwards to relive it and we most definitely can not see into the future of it. We must simply live it...now. enjoy it now....and thank Spirit every day we can share it with another.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts "today" and I look forward to reading what you write "tomorrow".

This poem, Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow, presented in an ABAB sonnet-form, reminds the reader that time and tide wait on no man.

Hello Jaybird, yet another well written poem and a good read. Some good advice given. It must be true wisdom comes with age. I know how old you are and you consistently give good advice. You have not failed us with this one. Lovely poem - good rhyme, as usual. Warm regards Dorothy x

Hi Jay. I almost missed this one for some reason. I enjoyed these lines best, but the entire piece is encouraging especially these days.

"Yesterday's gone, forevermore
but, we can't dwell on bygone fears.
Things might have cut us to the core,
that dwelt with us, throughout the years.

God bless you, Jay. Bob
