Some are rich, some are poor... by royowen

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Hello, Roy - just popped in for a while -
a well-written poem with a good flow
to rhythm and rhyme -

We are all God's creation and should live in peace and harmony.
If only......

I love this: the content, the smooth flow of the rhythm

visualise the scene - a real pleasure to open up to.

Most impressive.

Thank you Covid by Cogitator

Excellent

Don't love your life, just love living
Don't judge others, practice giving
We are equals in Covid's mind
Once that's absorbed, peace we will find

I enjoyed your poem - the words flowed well and the rhyming was spot on - all in all - ending with a little good advice - quite impressive.

How very sad - all you can do for your friend is be there and listen so she doesn't feel so alone.

Your poem describes the devastation of loss perfectly -
Re the 4 syllable line -
with no warning
without warning - although this is saying the same I felt it flowed more smoothly - only my humble opinion)

The Hoover by Marcus Miller

Excellent

Hello, Marcus - a well written story - but might I suggest you
Insert a double space between each paragraph to improve on
presentation, which will also make it easier to read.

And perhaps divide that 3rd para as it is overly long.

aluminum -
aluminium

behoove
behove

imprortant
important

I could saddle up the Hoover[,] and start sucking - comma not needed

Good luck with the contest.

Blind Love by JW

That's a good start, Jon - with Paul's thoughts and
the promise of a little mystery about she might be
afraid of the truth - leaving us wondering just what
that truth is....

I particularly liked the descriptive para about the day.
And I see you've given Scotty and Spock a part.

Sorry I've been so long in getting around to reading - such a lot going on
Regards,

Another of your treats - so Roy Owen is writing horror poems.

This has a really good flow to it, Dean - and I particularly like
the internal rhyming you've included.

I hope you don't leave altogether.

Take care,

Chester is determined to carry out his plan - I hope he does well and
eventually comes back as a gentleman - Vicky is certainly going to
miss him, and of course, there'll be other suitors after her and her money.

looking forward to reading more.

My goodness - I bet his jaw fell open - she was so hesitant about telling him,
but he needed to know - and, as I've already said, I hope he doesn't step away because she's now a wealthy woman - well penned, Phyllis.
