These words brought a smile to my face. I remember in the fifties, my brother and I thought it was a great privilege to be the one to switch the t.v. on. We would often fight over who was going to do it. Then wait 5 minutes or so for the t.v. to warm up!

A perfect title, Hippie Heart. Stitched in its seams. Just those few words says it all, it demonstrates a Haiku with emotions. Very well presented, well done.

Those four lines instantly bring back so many memories. I totally agree with what you say. I remember we used to switch the television on , then wait five minutes or so for it to warm up...how things have changed.

Before actually reading your story, I thought, a bit of a long read at times, but I'm so pleased I did decide to read it.it was a great escapist story from start to finish.
It was serious , witty and humorous , which I think made it an extremely engaging read.
