OMGerd, this is hilarious in its rhyme! What a picture this puts in the mind. I guess my life's ambition of letting poo happen and dealing with it needs to be rethought.

Humor poetry at its best.

There are many great lines within this piece...Loved the 'Well' line and the last full stanza, what an image that conjured up.

Sometimes stilted lines work so well, with the use of different forms of punctuations, but they need to work along with the poem allowing it to flow and not sound so staccato.

Perhaps this was supposed to be read with the tone of mayhem and confusion and I missed the poems significance all together. I apologize if so.

I enjoyed the gentle rhyme in some lines and just the free spirit of this poem. Who of us doesn't search for our muse at times. They can be so fickle and moody, well at least mine is. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Isn't this the truth. Time certainly doesn't slow for anyone or make allowances for anyone, it just speeds along willy nilly and we have to hold on so we don't miss a second of each day.

If Nirvana is simplicity, then I'm so there. I love how your words ebb and flow with each stanza. Sometimes silence is golden and healing, as it allows room for reflectivity and meditation.

Beautiful poem.

Your mom has an endless supply of love for all, but especially for you kids. You can hear it in her words and her voice when she'd speak of you.

Dave and I sit back and marvel at how much you each carry her likenesses within, your strengths, your views of life and how well you each deal with the moments of this journey your on with your mom right now.

This is a beautiful poem, it's so full of great advice and motherly reminders. The photo of you three is a treasure because it captured a time you'll each carry with you now.

There is nothing as profound as the way you (Maureen) approached and lived life. Always one step in front of the other no matter the size of the step.

These words reach in and grasp the beats of a heart, making all else in life pale in comparison except for that moment were in.

Life is indeed precious and you lived it each and everyday.

Love you Sunshine!
