Nobody really had a good plan for the virus and your case seems entirely unfair. it will likely fall on deaf ears as well. Suffering has never been very good at penetrating bureaucracy. Best of luck to you.

kind of a motley crew you have with Eddie and Vivian. The contrast of church clothes and mechanics garb is pretty stark and Vivian seems a bit unaware. Well done on your flash fiction

I really loved this.

Einstein is said to have said that time exists so everything doesn't happen all at once.

The perception of time and altering it can ease pain for sure. In the same way thinking of space can. How large is the pain? Exactly how large. Solid or not? I think my mind has played with the concept of space in the same way as yours has the concept of time.

I almost married a Christian fundamentalist prior to my own deconversion. I understand very well the desire to do away with religious symbolism and it's hard to know if it means as much to them as it does to us.

Beautiful and flowing rendition of a love affair. It reminded me of the writing style of Marcel Proust in which the reader isn't given a choice but to be swept up in the story.
