Of course, you're one of the best! Isn't there a way or an app that would magnify your writing and enable to read others. There's an app for everything now.

How are you doing? I have selfishly stayed away from FS because I couldn't write like I use to. And now I hear you facing more challenges! I hope you can send a message back.

Hummm, a mystery within a mystery. What a great hook! I'll be thinking on this and let you tell me I'm wrong or right. I am surprised and glad that at least one cop was paying attention. Maybe because Frank is a retired cop. They won't treat him like an outsider. It seems like too many of the different groups refuse to cooperate. I am glad you are continuing to add small rays of sunshine. The reader knows it won't be a happy ending for every family. We are just hoping Sally will come out of this alive.

Best of luck in the contest. It's been quite a while since I've seen a post of yours. But then again, I have been absent myself for a time. I must have murdered my muse but I try to read others work. It's a joy to read your beautifully done poem. I loved the last line, "sea's delete key" Well done!

The terror girls in Sally's position must feel. I know many adults think this will never touch their families. In Detroit, it has come out through the media is a prime spot for human trafficking. The danger is not just for poor, brown girls but white, wealthy ones in the suburbs. Your story is so real I hope it will serve as a lesson for kids, parents, and teachers, It isn't a "pleasant story " but one that needs to be told.

Too many times, the lack of action by the police is very accurate. I like the idea of all the parents coming together. I am sure there are families out there today with adolescent or pre, who are missing. It must make parents feel like they are fighting on all fronts; the authorities and who has their children. I am glad you added a little light. It would be too easy to only tell the dark. Great writing. I look forward to reading more.

Friendship Has its Price by Sasha

Someone told me once that we love our friends, worts and all, because that's who they are. It can still aggravate the piss out of us. My friend Patti is always late and I am always on time, usually early. We've been friends since 1971. Do I still get pissed? You betcha. But that's on me. Nacho is who he is. I guess we all have our idiocies. I am sure I bug the hell out of my friends. But, we love our friends for who they are not what they do. Give Nacho a big kiss from me.

You have shown Sally's character and personality so the reader is immediately scared to death for her. The situation is a horrible one but when the reader feels for the character, it becomes personel. We are in that room with Sally. Great job!

Absolutely terrifying! You captured the apathy of the policemen and the budding panic of the mother. What a horrid ordeal for a little girl. I can tell it's going to be one of those stories that you can't put down but are truly afraid to find out what happens on the next page. Great start! I look forward to reading more (I guess).

What the hell happened? Did you get hit by one of those crazy drivers? Sue their asses! I am sorry you are hurting. I hope the doctor gave you some good drugs at least. Are you in a cast? You gotta tell me what happened.
It's finally spring/summer here. It's been in the nineties for the past few days. It's like we went from boots and mittens to flip flops and air conditioning in a couple days. Really strange. Take it easy
