What a lovely haunting & sweet poem. The lingering of a love that's NEVER forgotten. Wanting that SPECIAL person to KNOW the search isn't OVER - or will it ever be? There's a TENDERNESS that resonates throughout the piece, like a faint whisper in the distance. Just below audible but you hear it nonetheless. NICE WORK, Chocolate Chip

Very descriptive & as well as visual. Your way with words painted a realistic picture for the reader. The poem flowed with intensity that was guided by the imagery. A VERY ENJOYABLE READ!

When I read the title, I thought I had an idea of what the author was writing about. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! The story presented was well-written & poignant. Using "lost" the way you did was genius. Rethinking a word we use as a negative turned to a positive, broadens our horizons. I ENJOYED THIS PIECE OF WORK THOROUGHLY!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to read your poem because of the title. As I read it, it felt more like a listing of thoughts than a piece about "returning" to something missed. Would like to have been held in a bit more.

I liked the sentiment that was set in this poem. When I read it, I got the sense of togetherness (keep people inside) & the BEAUTY of nature (moon shines in darkness). Nicely written.
