I just love this little Champers lion. She is so precious. How can you sleep for even a minute with this darling child begging you to get up and play? Terrific poem.

You should have entered it anyway. Fabulous. Ha. This is definitely your medium and style. It is so very engaging and conversational. I wouldn't even realize it was poetry except for the rhyming because it reads so well as a story or conversation. Great job on this one.

Is there no end to the excitement in your life? Wish you could turn dozens of these loose in the beds of all the politicians that stole your people's land. Thanks for the photo, too.

Why in the world you ever thought yourself incapable of writing love poetry is beyond my comprehension. Your words to and for Delia continue to bring tears to my eyes. I am so sorry you must leave again.

This is such a beautiful tribute to love filled people-your people. You must be very proud of them and the heritage they've bestowed on you. Wish I could meet each and every one of them. They know what true love and respect is.

Love your honesty, Sasha. We're NOT all created equal and sometimes it doesn't get any better tomorrow. Sounds like you need to invest in a punching bag. Or just go review some of the "high and mighty" that spout 'not my cup of tea.' LOL

Family Background (Part 1) Delia by Walu Feral
Chapter 14 of the book It's More Fun In The Philippines

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

My life was nowhere near as difficult as precious Delia, but the first husband was similar. So glad you two have each other. I wish you didn't have to leave them soon. Is there NO way to earn some extra money where you are? Have you tried to contact different literary magazines about posting a poem in each issue? Maybe your childhood series should be self-published on Amazon to develop a readership?
