Bob, loved your wonderful storytelling even though I was expecting a sad ending, you surprised me with a murder robbery. Thanks, my friend, for a great read. Ray aka R. K. Alan

A lovely write, as always, Bill. There are, indeed, miracles around us and within us everyday of our lives if we only take time to see and experience them. Ray aka R. K. Alan

What a shame none of her family came to the wedding. I was 14 years old at summer boy scout camp when I saw my first and only bald eagle go fishing. They are magnificent to watch. Nice story progression and poignant end to this chapter. Ray aka R. K. Alan

Child abuse is such an awful thing. I can't imagine the pain they must carry with them for the rest of their lives. Nice storytelling as usual, Charlie. Ray aka R. K. Alan

I love the imagery you created in this piece, Chey. I particularly liked 'winter's fist' as it conjures images of cold and swirling snow. Ray aka R. K. Alan

Loved the heroic storytelling in this piece. Rising flood waters can be very dangerous and the snakes in the south are nothing to take lightly. God whispered. Ray aka R. K. Alan

Oh the joys of raising a little hellion. They are so cute they melt your heart, then they become nightmare on elm street and evil thoughts enter your mind.

I had a friend of mine explain God's love for us this same way. He gave us children so we could understand His love for us. He loves us and forgives us for our transgressions as we love our children and forgive them... nice way to look at things. Ray aka R. K. Alan

Yep, as much as women needed to be elevated to equality, the vitriol deadened men's desire to maintain the niceties of the past. I can recall have young ladies yell at me when I hastened to open a door. The sixties and seventies were hell. Ray aka R. K. Alan

Kelly and Brian need some time to work through her anxieties. I hope Emmie doesn't have second thoughts about marriage with the added pressure of extra kids, but she seems to manage them well enough. Ray aka R. K. Alan
