To Build a Nest by adewpearl

Truly EXCEPTIONAL, Pearl!:)

A 'sermon' with a rhyme;
A 'story' in shortened verse;
A 'lesson' for life sublime,
A 'parable' of life 'immersed',
A 'song' to accentuate life's chime!

Perhaps the VERY BEST I have seen on this site yet!
Thank you for your incredible insight and your brilliant 're-write' of life's most meaningful 'climb':
'To Build A Nest!"

Thank you, Pearl!:) Dansden

The Seven Virtues by denhagan

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

What an eloquent message of life's 'yen & yang', life's 'to & fro' and life's 'up's & downs' from ancestral traditions outlining the "SEVEN" REWARDS & RESULTS of a person OR a society's 'wrong & right' and 'harvest & blight'!:)

Extraordinary, Dennis!:) Enjoyed the flow, content and progression of thought-provoking comparisons of 'The Seven Virtues'!:) Thank you for your energy and insight to post your poem.:)

Faith Endures by Joyce Crowe
Chapter 31 of the book Sparks of Faith Ignited

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

What a magnificent tribute to God's grace you have penned, Joyce! Your description of Faith emits from the depth of your soul and resonates through your tenacity of trust.:) Your words that leap from the page, to me, are 'cry' and 'dark' and 'pain'- 'cry' with its corresponding rhyme 'sigh','dark' and 'pain' stand alone without rhyme yet affirms and embraces the link of your affirmation of faith: safe'.

Your sensitivity for humans in 'pain' reflects a gracious spirit and a generous heart in the progressive tone of your message of Faith. :) Blessings to you and yours, Joyce, in this holiday season and Best Wishes for your wonderful expression of the essence of Faith in the acrostic contest!:)

Liberty by galaxysagar

I savored the depth and angst of your expression of 'Liberty' in your content and intent.:) I liked the flow and feel of your poetic message!:)

I confess I'm not well-versed on the variety of poetic forms so it is inappropriate for me to comment on rhyme, cadence and style. I did sense a 'stretch' in rhyme & meter of 'whoever lives here' and 'nowhere to be compare' in your lines, 'Sacred is the soil and blessed whoever lives here,Superior our system nowhere to be compare'. I also noticed misspelling of 'Indorsed'(Endorsed). These two items allow me to give you a #4, yet I am eager to UPDATE my review if you sense an interest in 'reconsidering' certain terms/phrases which would help the flow of ideas.
Thank you, galaxy, for writing this eloquent message for reflection on Independence Day!:) Dansden

Eloquent expression of human's evolution toward meaning, purpose, identity and integrity pushing us toward 'possibility'!:) Most evocative in form, feature and finitude that entices the human psyche/spirit toward the infinity from which we have come....

Insightful, instructive and intuitive about human nature and human nurture!:)
Thank you, writer, for your sensitive and spirally embrace of life as seek to understand it...:) Dansden

Thank you, Gert, for your reflections about 'doors' which could easily be symbols for 'doorways' of life, relationships and relevance in this journey we call 'life'.:) Doors, doors: everywhere; all kinds, all shapes all sizes 'open' or 'close' to what our mind surmises...
Thank you for such images that seem to 'unlock' or 'chain' our lives/living in personal and unique ways.
Blessings, Gert!:) Dansden

Wow! Brilliantly concise, consistent and captivating in depth, dimension and definition of humanity's most consuming enemy: GREED!
What a gift of thought and thoroughness you exhibit, denhagan, in this mesmerizing and almost 'musical' expression of life's most defining and destructive motivation that always concludes with consumption of one's self (soul)!:)
Thank you, again, denhagan, for bringing to light and life the scourge that consumes generation upon generation who could be saved if only they could read your contemplation for their restoration. :) Dansden

Angela, I was enthralled with your simply elegant message in your reflections of meeting a stranger with whom you quickly invited to be a friend! The humanity and dignity of this 'chance meeting' of strangers from different worlds are engaged with your generosity and grace, "Do you want ice cream?"
Thank you for sharing this 'window into your heart and humanity'!:) I enjoyed and appreciated your work very much!:) Dansden

Building A Nation by Dougspoetry

Thank you, Doug, for inviting citizens to contemplate, on this 235th year of celebrating America, July 4th, the vision and vigilance, the perseverance and propositions that is required in building a nation. I am particularly drawn to your stanza, "Building a nation with good moral cause, Prying it loose from the enemy's jaws" which allows the reader to postulate the variety of 'enemies' (without and within) that provide the trials and tests of a nation's 'resilience'.

Excellent content with your intent to honor and extol the 'goals' and 'grace' that help build 'a more perfect union'!
Thank you for your wonderful message that portrays a faith that underlies your premise for courage and community.
