The Visit by rspoet

Wonderful tale, exquisitely told. Each character, person is so totally 'present', as if I know them personally, or have been in their company at 'some time'. But not before now, as am not acquainted with what you mention in the author notes. Such is the art of storytelling at which you excel. Thoroughly enjoyed reading - brought me many a smile and giggle.

Generosity Engenders Grace by rama devi

So TRUE and I wish everyone to experience the pure joy that gives. It only requires that we give way to the 'will' of a loving, compassionate, open heart and allow it to express itself spontaneously in every way possible.

Firebird's Passage by Y. M. Roger

Mmm, sensuous, erotic in words and wonderful art. Uplifting on a spiritual, esoteric level, the realms of lucid dreaming - takes us beyond the mundane, daily trials and tribulations, reminds us to find and trust the light within, ascend like Phoenix, be born again, follow our dreams and passions.
Great to start this day with, as not feeling exactly upbeat, so thank you for giving me this 'boost', love and light Susan xxx

For A Reason... by Y. M. Roger

So true, because rough spots, times induce to go within and reflect on what lesson can, is to be learned from the experience. And consequently
we move on with clearer vision and willpower. The whole of life is one big
mirror and up to us to smash it or look into it, see what it reflects, also about ourselves.

Delightful poem, full of joy and rhythm, rhyme too, well versed with great images of dance, carnival, festivities.
I love the way you let the tree speak for itself in 'true colours'. The blossom is stunningly beautiful, but indeed its delicate petals are soon gone, taken by the elements. But graced us with pure beauty and will flower again next spring.

Love at a Distance by WalkerMan

Beautiful, uplifting poem, too sweet a taste to review, as my words would just be a waste, as can't find ones which would really convey my feelings for this poem, my love for trees and Nature in general, with which I feel very aligned, spiritually, energetically, vibrationally and soulfully too.
I saw a wonderful documentary on what you mention about trees' and plants; communication.
Super picture to complement poem, love it. I have taken some lovely photos of faces in trees, almost human!
Congratulations with Nominations, 'Chapeau mon cher ami et gros bisous', Susan xxx

Gosh, spring rains have not clogged your source of inspiration! Doubt if even a sunami would haha.
I love the 'pattern' you made with the words - first just 3 drops and then
whoosh, a cascade of water (over) and then horizontal, clogged gutter.
And what a PERFECT pic too.
For me it's a WINNER in the contest!

Life~Time~Death by Rmocruz

I like this poem and the way you simply state what you think
and I agree with to a great extent. I am not a pessimist at all, but find people often an intrusion, upsetting for my peace of mind with all their confusion. And death, when my time has come, a liberation from life's illusion.
I presume this is the poem you mention in your review of my latest ?

The Scorpion King by Y. M. Roger

And so you may, brag and show off another of your son's stunning sculptures and awesome acrostic to match the King. But do you know that there are Scorpion Queens too, who have conquered many a foe, but not with their sting, which is just for show, but with their bewitching, seductive, truly fearsome beauty, which none could resist, so all, literally, simply fell beneath her feet in humble surrender.
I must stand up for the queens, as I am one of them haha...

Vampire of the Soul by Y. M. Roger

So TRUE and sad too! There are many forms of addiction. Sort of funny your posting this, as these words are so 'telling' of my neighbour, who is addicted to 'selfpity', negative mindset and blaming others for all her troubles, traumas, etc. She is so unaware of the fact that she is her own worst enemy. So her 'history' will keep on repeating itself, already is - never ending story!
I was just about to post a short poem to reflect upon, so shall do now.
Best of luck in contest, Susan x
