This is a moving poem and a great tribute to a man of God.
No matter how I try to accept death I don't seem to be able to and this site seems to keep me reminded of the inevitable end.
Good use of aabb rhymes

Excellent use of alliteration throughout. Love the warmth and emotion woven through each line. Don't know whothe poem is written for but they seem to be both very precious people.

Great philosophical poem
love is something different to everyone.
Sweet words satisfy some while positive actions are more preferred by others. Love is being there for another in whatever way we can.
However actions speak louder than words

I love how you do your own thing and give it a title.
That is what poetry should be. Self expressed right from the heart and in your own words and rhythm

You have said it perfectly.
The greatest gift anyone can receive is the gift of salvation. so many of us concentrate of these mundane gifts that its seems we forget about the real and wonderful gift from Christ Himself

dark bridges fell, I've walked that track;
to Canaan land I struggle on,
that river cross, love's garment don.
