If all thought as you, (Imagine!) would storms and earthquakes mind?
Would viruses subside? Would men stop trying to be alphas? Would the waning stack of goodies increase? Well said. Grammatical.

The wide grounds of the last mill I worked had a horde of these birds, little red eyes twinkling at night and their piercing calls sounding. This tribe seemed to prefer bare gravel to lay eggs, (lawnmowers?)and they were very theatric when I walked near their nests. Excellent post, sent me down memory lane...

No stretch, a casket is the last ominous box. Looks like an excellent entry for the club challenge. The secret is, is you change the will, tell no one mentioned in it before or after the change...I gotta rewrite mine, all the people mentioned in it are dead...

A chapter of nonstop action, developing the story as it travels. Fires are always unearthly scenes, the familiar being devoured by an ogre... excellent post.

Anytime you get into a dialog only work, your characters will end up saying things for the reader's benefit, but you kept that to a skinny minimum here, Lee. Excellent job.

This counts out as a correct nonet, and I have nothing against doting grannies, so I would have to call it an excellent post. Just imagine how much the world may change by the time he is your age!

In this mountain climate, sprouting things split rocks and pavement all the time. They come to roofs and cars and their slow power is incredible.
Put them in a fertilized flower bed and they die instantly. Excellent symmetrina for the potlatch challenge.

Very interesting, video included. Looks like a proper Haiku to me, a glimpse of nature with seasonal hint. looks like the track of the twelve-foot prehistoric bird I was reading about...

I think people forced to leave their homelands too often retain a loyalty to those places. It is where their loyalty remains and our money goes. I do not think many of them would die for our land. Excellent poem.

Excellent addendum to the homespun names of Alabama communities. Places like Chigger Hill and Froggy Bottom just name themselves. I never knew any name for those noble insects but Tumbleturd until a teacher informed me they were Dung Beetles.
