My Babies by TAB_that's me

What came to my mind first was the poem 'Tiger' by William Blake. It has an opening and ending more or less similar to My Babies. You've in a very simple and funny way elucidated the 7 stages ( as they call it). Yes, it is always a pleasure to be young and innocent. And how we love to be with them!

Raising The Drawbridge by toz666

The poem, in a very subtle tone, points to the lack of wisdom in opening the 'drawbridge' as you call it, to welcome the immigrants. It takes a very solid and logical stand and tries to open the eyes of those who've put the present generation in a mess. Well penned.

'Here and Now' - I remind myself everyday. It's a pretty piece I learned from Gita. Your poem gives it a new dimension, a lot of fragrance, beauty and above all a sense of belonging. Knowing that past is a goner and future a mirage, we still fret and fume over things that are beyond our reach or control.

This poem is a lesson in creative spirituality. It has given me a lot of happiness just going through it again and again.

An interesting haiku.
The friendship between man and dog goes beyond the fence.
The dog becomes not only a friend, but a guard.
A touch of humor there.

This is very sweet lyrical ballad, I could very much relate to. It has poise, humor and lot of reality. Above all I loved the sound. I think the poem needs to be sung to enjoy to the full. A love poem with a different dimension.

This is a pretty good write on the root cause of skepticism, and how to encounter them in the best possible way. The poem flows nicely with a few alliterations, twists and turns before we come to the philosophic note. Very well don!

A very clever piece of write. I very much loved the whole theme of the poem. The inside-outside trajectory of feelings.
This stands out for its simplicity and unique presentation.

Very captivating lines full of emotion and love. You've captured the essence of your feelings in the words as well as the picture. Loneliness through loss of loved ones is something that all of us have to bear at some time or the other.

Your Triolet, so very difficult to write, echoes the emotions of today's generation who've seen a lot of blood and guns and are fed up. The poem gives a glimpse of the 'other' world where we can all live in peace and enjoy the serenity of life. Excellent write and presentation.

Oh, this is profound. You'v penned a closely knit thought that transcends Time and Space. It's lyrical, cute and wonderfully imaginative. I esp. love the lines:
To see those streets, all paved with gold
and walk eternal lands;
we'll enter into heaven's courts,
where time no longer stands.

Thanks for sharing
